Whether you use the do's & dont's in this video for now or for in the future, it will make travel to Mexico go sooooo much smoother! Any questions?? **ALL MY TRAVEL DEALS I SHARE to save money are over on my Instagram. So follow me there if you want travel deals: **instagram.com/themeleashow/*
I’m going to Cancun for the first time me and my girlfriend. Honestly i was a little skeptical at first but the more i watch these vids the more comfy i get. Thank youuu!!!
Gosh I LOVE this! It seems like everyone I know is going to Mexico right now and I want to join them! THANK YOU for all the great info - you NEVER let me down! I probably saved enough money by following your Black Friday/Holiday Sales Tips (I paid the whopping $2 for your Deals list - SO WORTH IT!) to pay for my entire trip! YAY!! Mucho Gracias!
Aw thanks! Yeah, flights have been really low across the board. That's probably why you've seen a lot of people heading to Mexico. Check Google Flights to help you!
Yes, we did that too! No one wants to get sick on vacation or deal with sick kiddos. You can go back so many times and have a completely different trip. It's great!
@@unknownmyst_7826 it may be filtered but my friend got sick so I wasn’t taking chances with any water I would ingest. I bathed with the resort water but any I would put in my mouth was bottled.
This was great! My husband and I are going for our 30 yr wedding anniversary next month. We have never been to Mexico. We normally do Florida Gulf resorts, but they are 2 to 4 times more expensive. Thank you for your tips.
Very helpful video! We are going to cancun in 2weeks, It hard to decide which resort will be worth the money. Any recommendations for all inclusive resort for a family of 4 including 7and 8 years old boys?
How long did you stay at hard rock hotel? Did all your activities you showed with the kids included in resort? How did you book flights and hotel? What website?
We were there a week. I am hoping to have a video for you guys in a couple weeks showing you what the hard rock Riviera Maya was like 👍🏻 we used Google flights to find the cheapest flights and ended up booking through Delta. And for this particular trip we actually ended up using our Chase points to book the hotel👊🏻
@@lifeaswegomez There is TONS to do in Cancun with kids. Cabo is also great, not as much to do. But the flight is a lot shorter--and can be cheaper. A lot of resorts have plenty to do on-site and you don't really need to do excursions unless you really want to. Not doing excursions, our kids have never been bored. There's always enough at the hotel (activities, shows, etc) to do!
Excellent tips! Planning to travel to Cancun with my son for the first time in early March. Any recommendations on All-Inclusive Hotels for first timers? Thank you. :)
This might be a dumb question, but there is no TSA type check when leaving Cancun? I noticed your vanilla was over 8oz. US TSA blows a blood vessel when packing containers over 3 oz.
We have a trip planned to Cancun in March, I’m excited! Because we’re a big group, we opted to stay in an Airbnb. Any tips for that situation? I would love to book excursions in advance, how can I do that?
Most excursions will have websites that give discounts for booking bundles, special discounts for groups and early booking discounts. Like if you guys wanted to go do xplor like we did, they have discounts on their website all the time!
Me and 6 other of my dawgs are flying from Seattle to Cancun this July of 2021! Can’t wait, don’t know what to expect. Just going to go with the flow. Tickets are bought! ✈️✅🇲🇽
Visited Mexico many times when we lived in the USA and I never got ill my hubby got sick once and Lomatil fixed if very quickly. Not keen on Cancun at all much prefer Cabo. We tipped the bar staff when we first arrived and got super service our whole stay plus we tipped when we left also did this with our domestic she was old,put in long hours and looked after us like family, and on leaving my husband tipped her about a weeks wages. He also gave her our portable DVD Player and the kids videos as she had been making comments on it for a while and she cried. Yes agree never drink the tap water and gotta be so careful with anything washed in tap water too. I bought a very large bottle of Mexican Vanilla for baking nothing like it for baking. Love Mexico and the people are so friendly,
Thank you so much for this amazing video. Do you recommend a website for all inclusive resorts for family? I want to make sure my two little daughters are in a fun safe resort.
Question? Due to covid what paper form or proof due we need to show? I mean do we have to take the covid vaccine before we travel and show proof or not?
So we are booked for hotel zone for may. Two days ago I found they now require negative test for re entry to US ! Should we cancel ? I have no idea how we will get a test down there. I don’t want to travel around Cancun looking for a testing site and encounter dangerous situations
This was a very informative vlog.... all very good things for people new to Mexico. the ONLY THING I WOULD CHANGE IS..... you should tip your waiters in Pesos, and not US currency.... only because many of them work 6 days a week, and it is REALLY HARD for them to get to the bank to exchange the American money. We were told this by our waiters in 2019, when we went to Cancun.
I have a question about tipping. My husband and I are big tippers. We just believe people who earn tips, should be tipped generously. So what is a good tip and do you just keep handing out the bills like its candy.
Ik it would have been better but some people are trying to live just let them be it’s them taking a risk not you just worry about your health right now and let others worry about there’s
We haven't been to Mexico since before kids, this was super helpful. We're looking for a warm place to travel this year. I'm definitely leaning towards an all inclusive resort (kids ages 11, 8, & 4). Curious what your favorites have been?
There are soooo many options! So I think it comes down to if you want all-inclusive or not. And then what things are at the resort your family wants to do. This time, we stayed at the Hard Rock Riviera Maya. Im hoping I will have a video up in a few weeks for you guys showing that so you can see details of what it was like. Cabo is also another favorite (shorter flight too!)
You can fill out the immigration online, print it and bring with you. No need to bring a pen and some of the airlines are not even handing them out anymore
I have been watching your video's for years! I'm so glad your family got to go on vacation. Ours was cancelled to The Atlantis last May because of Covid. I love Mexico & have been there 3 times, but every time I get super sick no matter what I do! I tried all the medications & not drinking the water, no ice & brushing my teeth with bottled water. But the revenge gets me every time!!!! LOL....
OH man!! Seriously the worst! If you go again, stay away from anything they might wash without cooking, like Salad (lettuce) or Fruit.....it could be something like that. Hope you get to reschedule your Atlantis trip!
Thank you for the helpful tips and sharing highlights with your family. Ironically, we are taking our kids (12 and 14) to the this resort in March. And ignore the haters... not everyone lives in fear of a virus with a 99.9% survival rate ;)
Thanks girl!!! I hope you have the best time! I’m going to do a full video about this resort. Hopefully it’ll be up in a couple weeks so you guys can use those tips too😘
you need to visit Los Cabos and la Paz it's so beautiful la paz is better than Cancun in my opinion the beaches are so clean and the water so cristaline.
Would you recommend this particular resort for couples or another resort for 2 adults? Also if we take kids to this resort, do you have to book 2 separate rooms or do they have rooms for families of 5 for example?
There are a lot of great resorts in Cancun! Honestly too many cuz it makes it hard to choose! We stayed at the Hard Rock Riviera Maya this time around. I'm hoping to have a full video up on that in a couple weeks so you guys can see what it's like and if it might be a good fit for your families. If you are going with just adults, sometimes it's nice to find an adults only hotel instead. For this particular resort, they did have room options that would sleep up to 6 I believe?
Come travel to a place where “your safety “ is mentioned several times, you can’t drink the water, and the “staff” waiting on you makes $5 A DAY- no thanks.

Planning to go to Cancun and Tulum this spring. Very much looking forward to it
Tulum kinda reminds me of south beach with all tourists, it’s really nice out there tho, but only bad thing is it’s like 2 hours from the airport

Which resorts did you guys go? I’m looking to visit Cancun this year. Thank you for the info, love your videos.
Pesos are the only way to go. You get change in pesos if you use USD, and often times the change is a little short.
When is the best time to visit (not crowded, good weather)?
Web u recommend this place for couples ?
Where did u book the flights or it’s I. All included ?
