No it means the opposite it means that he loved and cared for him. Which in his world made him weak. But why didn't we see it he killed his own Brothers ❓ Even killing him with his bare hands showed an amount of respect for Victor. Robin had nothing to do with it Sometimes you guys go too far they stretch it
There’s no competition, this is the most terrifying, formidable, devious, and ABSOLUTELY DESPICABLE version of The Penguin that has ever been made! Please give us The Batman 2 already so we can get more of Colin Farrell as Oz Cobb, and please have Batman beat him so fucking badly that he winds up somehow even more disfigured. For Victor! Also I’m so relieved that Sofia survived. While I hate that she’s living a fate worse than death ending up back in Arkham (which honestly practically is hell), she now knows that she has a sister in Selina Kyle. And I absolutely believe that Selina will try to find some way to get her sister out of Arkham.
If you remember back in episode 6 or 7 when oz mother told him that if she ever became a vegetable that he wanted him to kill her because she didnt want to feel hopeless. I feel like thats another showing just how evil oz is because he basically left her to become what she feared that she might become.
That is the one thing I don't think he does out of malice. Perhaps some small part of him that he'd never be able to admit even to himself. Would want some tiny revenge for stabbing him with the bottle knowing in his heart she was clear headed when she did it. But the way he has his "gf" take the role of his mom at the end. I think this is his Norman Bates version of not being able to let her go without hearing the words, love, pride and thank you for finally giving her the penthouse. Perhaps if she had gotten a stroke afterwards when he had won. Given him the confirmation he desperately wants from her and had been able to give her a taste of the luxury life. Had the stroke come shortly afterwards. He might have felt like he could honor the promise. But without those words and without even knowing what if any of her is still in there. He can't get himself to do it. He could do it to Victor precisely because in the end he showed him love and loyalty. But he'd seen and knew too much, also making him feel weak because he was the only other person he truly cared for. Everyone else is a transaction and thus can't hurt him even if they betray him down the line.
I don’t think we’ll realize until down the road how pivotal this show was and I hope it’s a game changer for comic book TV shows that was passion and heart put into it by people from editors to producers to the cast to people who are people just walking around everybody put their heart and passion me this show and I cannot thank them enough. the riders, the editors, the directors, etc.
this show was such a banger. they cooked up fr, one of my favorite comic book projects in the last half decade. And oz mom asking him to kill her a few episodes ago if she became a vegetable just for that time to come and oz doesn't do it he just keeps her cooped up in his penthouse kinda like torturing his mom is also pretty wild
The symbolizism of Oz throwing Vic's license in the water in relation of how he killed his brothers to me was so on point. This show is definitely 10 out of 10 to me.
Oswald's greatest weakness has always been his mom, his only family, and when he started to feel himself getting attached to Vic. Well, he couldn't afford to have another weakness.
He's terrifying and he's so comic accurate. Just a voracious, selfish, monster. My new # 1 villain. I'm excited for everything. If these are the villains lordy! These are true agents of chaos.
great video Coy! Imo, this show will do for penguin what Dark Knight did for Joker. This is absolutely the definitive version of Penguin, and for me, the show has propelled him back to one of Batmans top villains
The bookending of Oz being impulsive and killing berto in the first scene to his “growth” of self controlled kills and setting up Sofia instead of allowing her to goad him into killing her when she taunted him in the last ep is crazy good writing
i had been saying for a couple of episodes now that i think Oz will be the one to kill Vic, but as the show went on, i found it less likely. then BOOM out of nowhere. what an ending, what a production, top tier acting, incredible writing. genuinely one of the best things ive seen in years. completely agree that keeping Bruce out of this made it better, now im just excited to see whats's next and how it connects. thanks for talking about the show, keep up the hard work legend!
I more and more, after thinking on it, believe that what we saw in that final scene between Eve and Oz wasn't actually the first time that scenario had played out. Remember the earlier scene with Sofia? There were a couple of moments that stuck with me, and the big one was Eve's reaction to Sofia guessing the kind of things that Oz wanted to hear. There was a little smirk on her face that suggested amusement because Sofia was off the mark. And she did say her relationship with Oz wasn't simple... Gotta admit, I wasn't surprised when Oz killed Vic - I was expecting it at some point. Absolutely phenomenal show! 🙂
This series really made you hate Oz enough that you want Batman to defeat him. They showed us how despicable he is but he’s not without his dark charm “Jesus Sofia, pick a lane.”
They really did an exceptional job on this series. Him offing Vic was just 🤯. On a side note… really appreciate them putting information for dementia at the end. While I know no one personally that suffers I’ve heard stories of how brutal it can be.
I think it's fair to say that the next Batman villain will likely be the Court of Owls. The courthouse scene strongly hinted at this, especially with how the curtains were arranged. To me, the way they framed the scene almost resembled an owl, evoking the Court’s ominous presence. I could be wrong, but it felt like a deliberate nod
In ep 6 when Sofia is speaking to Eve, she asks Eve if Oz has "seen this version of you" when Eve doesn't have her blond wig on and Eve says he's seen it a couple times but doesn't like it. That stood out to me at the time and I think it's because it reminded him of his Mom and foreshadowing the end where Eve is now his replacement "Mom." Sofia saw the resemblance.
10/10 this is my favorite show of 2024 (X-men 97 and shogun being close behind). When he killed Vic….geez. And the fact that he’s dancing with that woman dressed up as his mom….and he doesn’t know she’s the reason Sofia got her mom…..geez….the only person he choose not to kill was Sofia….only to take her down by the law….such a smart show.
They gotta make penguin the villain of the next batman movie, Have him as the mastermind who puts out a contract on batman and Deathstroke the secondary villain coming to Gotham to collect.
It’s incredibly rare that a series of any kind ends with its best episode. Kudos and Emmys to everyone. Absolutely unbelievably great TV. I’m floored at how good The Penguin was. Beyond words. If this is the future of the Batman universe, then I am 100% in!
Oz didn’t underestimate Vic. He asked Vic how he got Link to turn and we saw each of the underbosses take out their leader. Vic’s smart. Eventually Oz would get taken out if he didn’t take Vic out now.
What a great show! Really went out on an amazing note too, we hoped that his darker instincts wouldn't take him to a place where he would do terrible things to Vic, but deep down I felt it was set up really well. The whole dance with Eve dressed as his mother and her herself trapped in her own body inside his penthouse was chilling. Brilliant.
Dont foeget his mom told him in ep 6 to kill her when she loses her mind fully. So him keeping her alive in the end like a puppet is purely for his selfish desires and sick satisfaction. In the end, killing Vic, keeping his mom alive, he did it all for himself and convinced himself that he cares aboiut either of them
I agree with you with the fact that even though I was hoping to see a glimpse of either Bruce or Batman, I'm glad they didn't show him except for that signal... The show didn't need him at all, and that just proves how strong the show overall was...
I absolutely loved this episode and series as a whole. Gf and I got started late but got caught up so we could watch the finale on Sunday night. We were stunned, so much to enjoy, loved the setup by Oz, hated loosing vic though
The last scene with Eve, sheesh, OZ got serious mommy issues damn!!!! He came into his pure villian role by getting rid of Vic. Great finale, great episode!
I did not expect that man, I kept telling my family there's time left, this isn't over what's the twist and boom he strangled vick. I just can't believe it wow, what a freaking episode 😭. Kid penguin was a menace "it'll be easier now" saying that to your mother is insane. BUT HEY HES GOT THE HAT NOW
Fantastic show all around and the finale didn't disappoint! Bummed to see how it ended for Vic because I got attached but they (the writers) wanted to remind everyone that Oz is an evil piece of crap and it totally worked. I hate watching movies or shows about antagonists that are portrayed as misunderstood good guys. With that being said, can't wait to see Penguin getting his ass whopped in the sequel.
Wow. Best show of the year. Full stop. Writing, acting, so well done. I thought for just a second that they were going to show Pattinson as Bruce Wayne on the landing by that group with the mayor in City Hall or wherever that was. I’m glad they didn’t though. And the bat signal at the end was a nice touch. Great coverage and insights, Coy. Thanks, as always.
Wow, what an ending! I have to be honest, I didn't really like the Batman that much. So I wasn't really sure whether I was going to like this show, but I was optimistic because Colin Farrell and Cristin Milioti are two of my favorite actors. But this was absolutely a top-tier comic book show, with lots of great twists and turns and revelations of character. Between this and Peacemaker--two very different but somehow compatible shows--DC is back to killing it on the small screen, and I look forward to seeing where they go next (eagerly anticipating Creature Commandos--would also love to see that Gotham Central type show eventually).
Tossing Victor's ID like that meant he died a "nobody". And there's no one to even miss him or file a missing person report. Just another John Doe dead in the park. Terrible.
I don’t know what to give this show 9/10 or 10/10 but damn this was good. It’s just as much as a masterpiece as “The Batman”. Yeah we underestimated Ozwald and seeing him kill Victor nearly got me crying. But also shows he has fully become the Penguin. I said it once I’ll say it again Gotham is always creating monsters. Also I think in part 2 he will act like he’s this business philanthropist like he is in comics but you cross him the wrong way he will make your life hell like the monster crime boss he is. Sorry this is long.
So glad youre here Coy ❤ havent seen you except once since old Collider days (when collider was awesome with the star wars and comic book shows you were all in)... will keep tuning back... thanks for the summaries and input 🎉
Certain angles, she looked exactly like his mom. Which again brings up a juxtaposition: Remember how eve sent Sofia to Oz's place? It's like how Oz's mom initially planned to get him killed
i loved the show so much and the finale was perfect. Oz is such a SOB and it's terrible that he F's over everyone close to him. It's so well done. Perfect show in my opinion.
Excellent Series! Just Outstanding! the Best thing they did about this show is that let the penguin be a VILLAIN! Not an anti-hero or a misunderstood victim...but a full blown. evil, villain!
I agree totally with you Coy. This was the best show this year and probably my favourite TV DC show. Not one episode disappointed me, even though I was sure that it might drop the ball, but it didn't at any time. Brilliant writing and direction. Great sets and scenes and award winning acting performances from the four main actors; Colin Farrell, Cristin Milioti, Deirdre O'Connell and Rhenzy Feliz also the other actors such a Clancy Brown, Theo Rossi, Carmen Ejogo, Shohreh Aghdashloo, Mark strong etc etc etc. Immediately after watching ( I had to wait till 8:00 am here in Edinburgh, Scotland) I rushed to the Reel Rejects review and then here to you. Thank you so much doing this review and others which helps to reinforce by love of comics (since I was a bairn in the 1960's). Keep these reviews coming Coy
So many awesome setups in this episode to name, so many fake outs I couldn't believe where this show took us during this season. That light behind Sofia where we thought it was the gunshot and it turns out to be the GCPD helicopter, the final ending for Victor, and the creepy final dance scene showing Oz's Oedipal "issues". Such an amazing show that I didn't even realize I wanted. 10/10
Francis' and Sofia's fates were literally worse than death..and Oz was responsible for both. If there was any sympathy for Oz throughout the series, it's all gone by the end of the final episode...Oz is a MONSTER. And his own girlfriend cosplaying his own mother in the dance with Mother in vegetative state in the room next to the dance is grotesque. Outstanding and unsettling AF. If Oz knew that it was his own girlfriend who gave up Francis to Sofia..PLUS...if only the girlfriend knew what really happened between Francis, Oz and Oz's own brothers..she'd have lit out of there so fast. That was messed up AF.
Even though I saw Vic not making it past the season coming, he'd seen too much, knew too much to make it out. The way and when he went about it was still shocking. If he had traded Vic for something, sent him on a mission he knew he wouldn't make it out of. Or there was even the slight hint that Vic was a liability after having messed something up. This was him showing that not only is he a true sociopath who can't risk any emotional weakness. He is also just as mentally unstable as Sofia where he wants to life in this fantasy world. The biggest reminder that would break the illusion would be the one guy who has seen Oz through thick and thin. At first I thought "wouldn't that same thing apply to Sofia, when she knows more of the truth than Victor why let her live?" But it goes to show he does still have one foot in reality and he feels like it won't matter if she talks and tells anyone about what she knows. He's willing to risk someone asking questions putting pieces together. So long as it means she has to go through the one thing she fears more than if he had ended it. The one dangling unexplained tread is Julian, why wasn't he there at the airport when she was meant to leave Gotham forever. Seemed like he was the only person she cared for and would have wanted to take with her?
Great review That was truly beautifully orchestrated, the intertwining of perspectives and psyche between the Francis and Oz conversation/confrontation. Which ends with Francis on the edge of consciousness and active just laying there and having Oz seeing the damage he has cause, seeing his mother awake but not alert. Not being able to move forward, not having the potential of getting forgiveness from his mother, not getting to rebuild. With all that emotions it leads to the end of the one person who always stayed loyal to Oz. I’m very intrigued on the comics storyline that could be adapted with that ending of The Penguin.
It is the first time a series made me feel indecisive whether to like or hate a character. The character build up for Sofia & penguin, were so good that u understood where the evil deeds are coming from. Neither a hero, a victim nor a villain. This series depicts the Mafia mentality of "What's in it for me?" Well all humans do 😂
The protagonist of The Penguin may not have superpowers per se but the series itself was super-everything; directing, acting, camerawork, stagecraft, makeup. Multiple Emmys will soon appear on the series' resume, to be sure. Farrell in particular as well as his makeup artist will stand tall on many awards podia. The intrinsic power behind the story is the characters' parents and how they affected their children and vice versa; Oz's mother knows he's a monster just like Sofia realizes her father is a demon. The struggles to square that knowledge with filial love becomes overwhelming. It's a tale older than Shakespeare, Homer or Gilgamesh.
Great show but what he did to Vic was just scummy as scum can be. I really thought he would have him past the ending. Did anyone notice Eve’s last name is that of Clayface?
Even though seconds before I realized what Oz was about to do, my mouth still fell open with a gasp. The show took so many swings and I feel like they all paid off.
This show is excellent, the writers produced something special. The phycological twists and turns, the manipulation, the parallels, the betrayals. This show had it all except for Batman and it didn't need him. 10/10
Anyone else notice that the curtains in the courtroom scene were hung to look like the silhouettes of owls? (Court of Owls) Gotta be something to that!
In a way, killing Vic was the most humane thing Oz did. With the calibur of danger from the intensity of the enemies he will have... Vic was a HUGE liability, and sadly, dying by the hands of a respected mentor is the best way he could go, considering the inevitable alternatives. I would argue that part of Oz died that night, making him an even more broken man. Ditching the ID ensured no one would tie the body back to Oz, as Vic was a known associate. Taking the money from his wallet clouded the motive for Vic's death. It may have been hard to watch, but it needed to happen. 😢
The only real issue I had was Oz pulling a Jason Bourne at the club and then carrying his mom off like it was nothing. The show already did a great job at establishing that Oz isn't the strongest fighter, hell, even Salvatore was kicking his ass! I just couldn't see Vic not being able to overpower Oz at the end. Even with that little nitpick, it's still a 10/10 series!
He had Vic in a head lock it’s doesn’t matter how strong you are once someone locks their arms around your neck and starts squeezing you gonna pass out/die before you get the chance to “overpower” them🤷🏾♂️
Also, you are really underestimating Clancy Brown. The man is huge. There is a good reason why people feared Salvatore Maronni. So him kicking Penguin's ass makes sense
@jomama8598 meh, agree to disagree. Watching the scene again and seeing how the hold was and Vic not going for the face or anything, didn't really sell it for me. Still a great series tho
The show had us rooting for Oz the whole time because of his charisma, and in the end when he gets everything he sought to get, it made us realize ‘oh fuck, what have we done’
@@paulcarpenter7844Hate to break it to you, but he was a momma's boy even in the comics. He killed his brothers in more gruesome ways to keep his mom for himself. Just read Pain and prejudice Penguin
Definitely part of him making that decision but I think he genuinely is afraid to be hurt by another person he considers family even though Oz is a total hypocrite in that regard. Genius character development.
What a great season, I was hype for the Batman 2 but excitement level is through the roof. Side note : Now that Victor is dead and no longer in universe there’s no was DC studios/ WB let’s Rhenzy Feliz walk away. What character could he play in the DCU ?
I think this is the first example of a show that I have watched (never watched BB) where they let the story be led by an actual villain, someone who the show suggests is iredeemable, and yet along the way felt like you were on their side. Thats its greatest strength. I hope there is no Season 2. Simoly because unlike say Game of Thrones where the cast we cared about was big enough to deliver new shocks and twists, killing Vic was the ultimate act this Penguin. Weve seem him at his lowest, his highest and his most heartless. I dont think you can top that moment. Going forward we know he can and will do literally anything so nothing can surprise us. Thats why I think an eventual showdown with Batman would he a brilliant story to round off his arc, rather than another series. It looks as if they are pivoting from mafia thriller to political thriller if they do go for a series two, but again, im not sure quite what the stakes are in that series if it happens. Because after this series while its interesting for us to see the Penguin pull off his plans, part of what made this series so strong was that until the finale (and even during parts of it) we were on his side despite what hed done. But the finale does a good job of changing that.
The show did a great job of establishing Gotham's mob culture and crime scene. The twisted themes and dark tones of the city and players therein were able to cut through like a knife! The story, gritty characterizations, and complex motivations wouldn't be given any justice in a full length movie format (too much to be squeezed into 90-120 minutes). Using an 8 episode show to have us invest in these characters over a period of time was a brilliant way to keep us excited about the films! I hope future Batman villians and storylines are being well thought thru in a similar way.
The fact he killed Victor and have his own mother says he hated him. Plus having penguin go full on bates motel is crazy. This show is a 10 out of 10
No it means the opposite it means that he loved and cared for him.
Which in his world made him weak.
But why didn't we see it he killed his own Brothers ❓
Even killing him with his bare hands showed an amount of respect for Victor.
Robin had nothing to do with it
Sometimes you guys go too far they stretch it
Penguin was a masterpiece. Clean Emmy sweep next year for the penguin.
There’s no competition, this is the most terrifying, formidable, devious, and ABSOLUTELY DESPICABLE version of The Penguin that has ever been made!

And I absolutely believe that Selina will try to find some way to get her sister out of Arkham.
Oz putting sofia who just wanted to be free back in Arkham, perfect revenge!
Colin's acting was fire this entire season... But man, this last episode he really proved he deserves to be nominated at least.
RIP Vic. The fuck!?! This show was amazing! 10/10!
If you remember back in episode 6 or 7 when oz mother told him that if she ever became a vegetable that he wanted him to kill her because she didnt want to feel hopeless. I feel like thats another showing just how evil oz is because he basically left her to become what she feared that she might become.
Nice catch
That and it’s just him being stubborn since he hadn’t gotten her his promise before she went into the coma.
That is the one thing I don't think he does out of malice. Perhaps some small part of him that he'd never be able to admit even to himself. Would want some tiny revenge for stabbing him with the bottle knowing in his heart she was clear headed when she did it.

That was, without a shadow of a doubt, the greatest season of comic book television I have ever watched. My God.
Absolutely 💯
The symbolizism of Oz throwing Vic's license in the water in relation of how he killed his brothers to me was so on point. This show is definitely 10 out of 10 to me.
And Vic's family drowned in the floods The Riddler caused. That part made me think of Penguin's brothers as well.
The moment Vic said the word family, I was like OMG Oz is gonna kill him....
too bad vic didn't know what oz does to family
Yeah Vic didn't know what really happened to Jack and Benny
Oswald's greatest weakness has always been his mom, his only family, and when he started to feel himself getting attached to Vic. Well, he couldn't afford to have another weakness.
💯 I was like... Bad choice of words Vic on this night. 😳
WHAT AN EPISODE AND SEASON !!! The acting, cinematography and writing has been 🤌🏼
He's terrifying and he's so comic accurate. Just a voracious, selfish, monster. My new # 1 villain. I'm excited for everything. If these are the villains lordy! These are true agents of chaos.
The last scene with the lady of the streets. Pretty sure that was what their relationship always was.
great video Coy! Imo, this show will do for penguin what Dark Knight did for Joker. This is absolutely the definitive version of Penguin, and for me, the show has propelled him back to one of Batmans top villains
If Rhenzy Feliz does not win an award for this show I'll be angry. He is such a fantastic actor. I'll be watching his career.
What Oz did to Vic is like what Tony did to Chris. Such a parallel to the Sopranos
You’re right!
I love how they flash the bat symbol to let us know oh yeah the batman coming for you penguin
It’s like the SpongeBob meme of him getting up from the couch 😂
i hope oz goes out in the worst possible way - but laughing maniacally
This show made Batman more of a hero to me. I want someone to beat Oz's ass so badly. I need my superhero to go after him 🙏🏽
The bookending of Oz being impulsive and killing berto in the first scene to his “growth” of self controlled kills and setting up Sofia instead of allowing her to goad him into killing her when she taunted him in the last ep is crazy good writing

If the Emmys doesn't show this series any love next year I'm protesting!

Gotta admit, I wasn't surprised when Oz killed Vic - I was expecting it at some point.
Absolutely phenomenal show! 🙂
This show has a case for best season of any show. Every episode felt important with no filler episodes.
Truly!
I really thought Vic would live…. Until he said “you’re family” 😢…. I almost cried…
This series really made you hate Oz enough that you want Batman to defeat him. They showed us how despicable he is but he’s not without his dark charm “Jesus Sofia, pick a lane.”

The scene of The Penguin taking out Vic is the most heartbreaking and uncomfortable scene I have watched in a very long time.

Golden age clay face
Yeah the writer turned them into a mama's boy c u c k

So I wasn't really sure whether I was going to like this show, but I was optimistic because Colin Farrell and Cristin Milioti are two of my favorite actors. But this was absolutely a top-tier comic book show, with lots of great twists and turns and revelations of character. Between this and Peacemaker--two very different but somehow compatible shows--DC is back to killing it on the small screen, and I look forward to seeing where they go next (eagerly anticipating Creature Commandos--would also love to see that Gotham Central type show eventually).
One of the best shows since GOT. Very pleasantly surprised by this show. Expected it to be good, turned out to be great.
Exceptional stuff
Bummer about Vic. But so good overall.
And Sofia and all the other supporting actors and actresses were top tier for me
I like how by the end of the of the show you realize the penguin not only fooled his enemies but also us the audience
Now I’m going to have to rewatch The Batman with a new set of emotions
Tossing Victor's ID like that meant he died a "nobody". And there's no one to even miss him or file a missing person report. Just another John Doe dead in the park. Terrible.
@@rednaskela4830
Victor's ID floated down the river. GPD will not be spending any manpower looking for his ID.
Mann if only Disney learns from this, let villians be villians.
Loved Agatha and The Penguin this season.
I really felt for Vic mann
What? You don’t think Disney let boba fett be a villain? 😂😂
thank you for you insight on the finale and the show. literally, one of the best i've seen reacting to this show!
Thanks so much man! Really appreciate that
So glad youre here Coy ❤ havent seen you except once since old Collider days (when collider was awesome with the star wars and comic book shows you were all in)... will keep tuning back... thanks for the summaries and input 🎉
I really trying to see were IGN saw a 5/10 like how?
Eve is The Batman’s version of Clay-face. Not even debating it with myself anymore.
Same with Agatha. What timing
I was just starting to warm up to him. Then he killed Vic and I was flabbergasted.
While Eve and Oz were dancing, I really thought he was going to throw her out the window!
Coy. I love how you called the congressman ‘Billy Walsh’. Fellow Entourage viewer!
Always appreciate your enthusiasm. Salute.
Salud!
Great review
That was truly beautifully orchestrated, the intertwining of perspectives and psyche between the Francis and Oz conversation/confrontation.
This series depicts the Mafia mentality of "What's in it for me?" Well all humans do 😂
Vic deserved better
CALL BATMAN!
@muonx9649 he will fail
I’ve been processing the ending for an hour now, it’ll stick with me for a long time. Feel awful for Victor.
I never connected with his character. Didn't really care either way. So I got over the ending quickly.
To be honest he was a great character for a different show😂
The protagonist of The Penguin may not have superpowers per se but the series itself was super-everything; directing, acting, camerawork, stagecraft, makeup. It's a tale older than Shakespeare, Homer or Gilgamesh.
i gotta feeling OZ being with the higher ups is going to lead into the court of owls
Greetings from Puerto Rico. I hope you're doing well.
God bless + take care :)
💐awards for all. Coy it was fun having the ride along with you week to week will be here for Catwoman or Mr. freeze HUZZAH or clay face.
Victor is going to be the next Miles Morales spider man. Gotta do it!
He’s dead bro
I recommend ppl read the new penguin special one shot comic that just came out! It is literally the same character that Oz just turned into pure evil!
You had the chance to call it a "breathtaking" Finale in the title there and you missed it....
Hahahahah that’s fantastic.
Shoulda!
This show is excellent, the writers produced something special. The phycological twists and turns, the manipulation, the parallels, the betrayals. This show had it all except for Batman and it didn't need him. 10/10
Cuz it's the penguin not the batman wasn't needed or should have been wanted
@dariuschisholm7317 I wasn't asking for Batman but others were. This show proved he wasn't needed.
@mydreaminorbit9297 I haven thought bout him once this was great forgot it was comic book related
Great breakdown Coy! Loved this show.
I can wait for the Batman 2😭😭😭😭!!! What a show!
This is tragic on the level of Macbeth. The last bit of humanity he had left he snuffed himself.
I feel more gagged than Vic 🤯
Justice for Victor
honest review, brilliant show!!
@@JohnnyJustice777I noticed this during the cooking scene with Sophie. I know she’s only like 5’3” but he towered over her. He’s gotta be what 6’5”?
@jomama8598 meh, agree to disagree. Watching the scene again and seeing how the hold was and Vic not going for the face or anything, didn't really sell it for me. Still a great series tho
@@jomama8598
There are ways to get out of a chokehold.
The show had us rooting for Oz the whole time because of his charisma, and in the end when he gets everything he sought to get, it made us realize ‘oh fuck, what have we done’
Not me I was team sofia
The Penguin has always been a villain. I didn’t feel a thing for him when he was crying over his mom’s coma.
I don't know the the writers ate all women and they turned him into a cu c k mammas boy
@@paulcarpenter7844Facts
@@paulcarpenter7844Hate to break it to you, but he was a momma's boy even in the comics. He killed his brothers in more gruesome ways to keep his mom for himself. Just read Pain and prejudice Penguin
Who thinks Oz killed Vic to prevent him from doing what all the other deputies did to their superior’s?
Definitely part of him making that decision but I think he genuinely is afraid to be hurt by another person he considers family even though Oz is a total hypocrite in that regard. Genius character development.
The ultimate underdog supervillain, whatta fantastic show!
