Amazingly fake too... For those of you who are aeronautical-types, about the best glide ratio obtained with current wingsuit designs is about 2 to 2.5 (2-2.5 feet forward for every 1 foot down)--which, by the way, is actually very amazing! Even the best wingsuit operators are still descending at 30-40 mph. Now that's the vertical component. Now add the horizontal component, maybe 100 mph before stall (if it's done perfectly), you're still looking at a neck-breaker. Currently it's not mathematically possible to land current designs on the water without experiencing excessive accelerative forces, or severe injury or more likely instant death. Better stick to cardboard box landings, which has been done successfully, for a couple different reasons I won't get into...
Wingsuits have a glide ratio of up to 3:1 so that's in the Parachute ballpark. The poblem is the speed as a wingsuit can only about bleed half it's speed and keeping it's height until it starts dropping again picking up vertical speed... It would be cool if we will see a design in the future that instead of ejecting a parachute could eject some foil that works like flaps.

The _Flying Squirrel_ suit was my favorite part about this video...
...people are always doing something nutty.
Next feat : wingsuite landing on a snowy ski slope in Chamonix without reserve chute !..... ;-) Should be much easier, because the slope would be at the same angle as the wingsuit glide angle ! Go for it , guy !
Hey Rafael take a tip from the Mexican cliff divers make two fists and break the water with them 🤫 it'll make your landing look cooler and help decrease the impact of the water on your body
The guy is a flyer for sure...and a belly flop at the end was great....
this is very difficult to do, i've only every seen 3 people do this, and im one of them, i did it back in 90's as part of my military training for the SAS when i was deep in a crack binge selling my body as a for-rent t-girl
I fell off of the Empire State Building. Luckily, I remembered to flap my arms really fast before hitting the pavement to slow me down. Great job on your landing.
Good Job Prof... :)
Shaving is necessary before doing these??
This entire skit (cause it's fake) is supposed to be an advertisement for the shaving products.
@@Fbiguy ya 😁
Totally fake!!!!
Notice there is not a continual video recording of the entire flight, ESPECIALLY the final approach at full speed and impact.
Cool guys , welcome to Lezgistan !
Lezgistan is a country of mountains.
Jumping from mount Shabuzdag , along the Samur valley, you can fly to the Caspian sea.

I thought this was real at first... Nice one!
Why so many dislikes? He did what he promised and the 3 minutes cut is just enough.
