Hey Cameron I've been watching your videos for a long time and your playing is getting better and better, your technique has also become incredibly good. Hats off to you.
Cam bro, really like this one. I like that play you the entire bit...break each section down and then play it all through again. Really good job mate! As always...your playing, style and lessons are the best in my opinion. Helped me lots. Cant thank you enough for making these videos so often, Im sure its a lot of work but you clearly enjoy it.
Outstanding Brah! I'm predominantly a Country and Blues player, but I have improved my overall playing by watching your vids. Your communication skills are on point.
man you are just so easy to follow. direct and down-to-business, but not boring and dry. so glad you embraced this music, thank you for all the hard work.
Awesome as always love the leads all the Randy Rhoads , EVH stuff you do as others say I watch daily several times and look forward to learning this makes me want yo learn 🤘
GREAT VIDEO man! Please keep these kind of videos coming. In fact, it will be great if you can take some licks like these and apply them in your own solo to show an example of how to use them in "real music". Great channel and great video.
Thank you! I said intro that they were inspired by a solo, The Deeper The Love by Whitesnake. It's hard just coming up with these videos so don't want to give too much away, there's loads in this video as it is.
@@CameronCooperTrue. Thanks again especially for taking the time to reply to me. Love your channel. I wish I had your speed tho ... it is SO HARD to develop speed ...
Hi Cameron, great video as always! Really liked the tip on finding the F#m9 arpeggio by mentally linking it to the minor pentatonic shape. Could you do more of this in the future by linking more licks to the 5 pentatonic shapes / Caged chord shapes or the 5 diatonic, sometimes referred to as "modal" shapes? Thanks again!
This is amazing but so shit when I play it 🤣 part of my issue is not seeing exactly when to pick and when to hammer for the rest of it that you didn’t explain after the van Halen (y) bit… it’s frying my brain but thanks for these free lessons ❤
Jeez man why arent you swept up by a major band? Youd be an a amazing asset

Thanks for the kind comment. I link licks to the pentatonic so people can find them and change keys etc in pretty much every lesson I do.

Thanks 🎉 what's your story
I started playing guitar when I was 4 and never stopped
are you on the clean channel of the Yamaha?
No, the FLAT mode
@@CameronCooper thanks.
Put Tabs in and your a top 5 TH-cam channel for guitar!
You don't need tabs, I say where my fingers are. ;)
I agree. I only use tabs for reference. You explain very well.@@CameronCooper
@@CameronCooper I prefer to use my ear and just follow the sounds myself but I know some ppl prefer tabs. I very rarely use tabs.
Great Video Cameron. Do you just run the Blackstar unit though the clean setting on the Yamaha ?
I run it on the FLAT setting
What’s the signal chain ?
Agnaddo
