Yeah, this is my favorite losers run in Ultimate. It wasn’t just that he had to win 11 sets to take the tournament, it wasn’t just the crazy upset at Kurama’s hands, it was the gauntlet he had to go through. Leo got upset early, but so did everyone else, so his losers bracket was incredibly stacked. After beating Dark Wizzy, every opponent he faced was someone he could’ve faced in grand finals at a different supermajor.

I was there. I was actually in another room of the venue when the prodigy thing happened. Mew2king was sitting next to me while I was playing friendlies.
Its all in the script. Really what it is though is that Leo has an unnatural calm and consistency. Every player gets a little lucky here and there, the difference is when Leo gets a little lucky, he capitalizes on it EVERY time and pulls out the win.
