When Tweek said “I wish you competed. You probably don’t wanna hear that” I felt that so much. So many fans & pro players have nothing but respect for Zero. I’m sure no matter what path you choose, you got nothing but love being sent your way Zero!
The fact that Tweek said that, and we're watching him actually contend with top 3... Man I think Zero would have the run of his life, climbing in standings in just a couple months. I think he could be top 8 if he did that smash world tour thing

People in the community were pretty shitty to him, I don't blame him for quitting. He's healthier and seemingly happier now, so as much as I miss his games in tourney, I think he made the right choice.

Id love to see Nairo v Zer0. I actually have no clue who'd win because of their playstyles, but i feel like its either a blowout with Nairo winning or Nairo edging it out to last hit. Not super sure though.
I mean Nairo, of all the top 10, has one of the largest amounts of actual personality, just like ZeRo did in sm4sh

the fact that "out of practice" zero who hasn't done tourneys or any real training in awhile can still stand up to the tops is great. I'm with tweek, i think he should come back for one more year and take over.
You cannot lose this like in other sports where you lose your condition. Also he has been playing for this channel so he hasn't been away.

Nah I don't want him to come back, I rather him stay retired and do his own thing. I'm pretty sure Zero also has some reservations about coming back, mainly the fact that people are gonna put high expectations on him to do amazing right off that bat and then talk shit when he loses to random nobodies. I don't think he wants to deal with that shit anymore.
He also played Elegant in local play at Frostbite and won with Diddy Kong and Almost won with Ganondorf (they went to game 5)
Zero’s shown so much growth over the past couple of years with his TH-cam blowing up, his stream doing well, and him being an overall healthier person. I feel like those things would suffer if he did start to compete again, and I think that’s one of the main reasons he doesn’t want to compete. I think he knows he can compete with the top players with enough practice, and now that the world tour is a thing, he might consider coming out of retirement. Either way, I support him 100% in doing whatever makes him happy, whether it be competing again, or sticking to content.
I dont think so since his mind set is getting better, and since he not relied on tourney income any more. I think he can just compete casually

It's fun to watch Zero when he's actually trying and not just goofing, but even better because it's not super-serious and stressful and everybody is just playing a game to have fun. I'd love to see more videos like this!

I've played since N64, and only started to follow comptetive smash since 4. You are just a great person, an incredible competitor and the GOAT in my mind. M2K with a close second, just because I love the guy and learned so much from both of you.

This was really great to watch. Both amusing and just entertaining. Especially with how buddy you all are with each other. It would have been delicious icing sprinkles and cherry on top of cake if at the very end the 4 of you just ended things with a big baboom and did a 4-way free for all. But I understand just getting this alone was hard enough.
