I agree completely. I have more chartreuse spinnerbaits in my bag then anything. Here in central texas that is a hot color in any kind of water. I just started using the rage bug. Have it green pumpkin. Fantastic bait.
Thanks for the video Karl. I have been using the bug for years with great success thanks to one of your shows I watched. So I do have to say Thank you for all you do to make us better fisherman.
The colors like green pumpkin seem to work great in the shade too. When it's hot like it has been it seems to do great because of how suddle it is, and that Moon Juice i think is gonna do great in the darker shade just because of that little extra flash.
I totally agree. If I don't think the color matches the forage or at times stands out from the environment I won't fish it properly bc the confidence won't be there. That new moon juice color matches the sunfish hybrids down where I live in our grass bodies of water. And falcon lake craw matches our crawfish well, BAMA craw also. They make so many great bait fish and crawfish colors we can match almost anything that swims. I have 2 speed bags packed full of menaces, craws, lobsters and both sizes of bugs in various colors. Would fish a magnum menace?? I feel like that's the only thing they're missing.
Cool Nick, I am sure Strike King is listening to all parties as they introduce more new colors and baits than anyone else in the fishing industry on a yearly basis.
personal preferences really; I like the bama bug in stained and tea colour water and the blue craw in clearer conditions, but they both work almost anywhere.
I love Karl's videos and trust the info he puts out. Anyone clear on the difference between the colors Bama Bug (which he names in his top 3 ) and Bama Craw, which to me resembles more closely the color of the one he was holding up when he discussed that color Bama Bug? Seems to me Bama Bug has a bunch of green fleck on a green pumpkin background with the opposite side being almost straight green pumpkin. I don't see that extended shade of orange in it at all. Might he have confused the two, because Bama craw has extensive orange on the ribbed body section on one side and pretty much straight green pumpkin on the other side?
Strike king plastics are about all I throw anymore. Perfect plastics and the Rage Tail line are 2 of the best in the world. The softer the soft plastic the better! Screw those hard firm plastics! I want that bass to grab it and not let go!! The bass can destroy as many soft plastics as they want! Because it’s about putting fish in the boat!💪FISH BITE AND DONT LET GO! Soooo true! Great video Karl! Awesome! 👌👍

My favorite is the Rage Craw in green pumpkin with Coffee scent...just left Wally World 3/30/19 with 3 bags/clamshell's.
Now that is the spirit! Right on.

We agree, the 'smell so good' sales pitch with hard baits, does not appeal to me either.
The whole Rage line of baits are awesome
We agree George
Which do u prefer the magnus or regular size???
I meant magnums
Usually it's the 4" models but when I am fishing deep weeds I will have some rods rigged with 5/0 hooks and the mag's for bigger bass
Ok thank you thats very helpful
@@alecashley6496 my pleasure, good luck.
Just bought all 3 of these colors but what side on the bama bug goes upward
You'll see eyes on the bug they go up...

Green Pumpkin kills them in all water types in my experience. Have 20 on hand at all times.
