Never thought I’d be in to watching farm related TH-cam videos/vlogs, but I have to say this channel has me hooked. What a well run business this is, and the attention to detail for literally everything is just brilliant.
As a small farmer not too far from you, I applaud your channel and its portrayal of what it takes to be an efficient large scale modern farm & the attention to detail required to produce food at scale. I think it will be very interesting to see how these sorts of operations evolve to meet the challenges of weather disruption, food nutritional density, environmental biodiversity etc which are coming towards us all.
Them boxes for the combine are a great idea. Like the idea of the cube on the back of the chaser. As you said, always in the field. Not a great week either coming up un Ireland. W. Barley has to start. 🤞👍
Great TH-cam channel. Keep up the hard work. Great operation and everyone is going to have combine front boxes now. Can't beat the high volume vane air compressor to blow off the combines, but need a shower on the grain cart for the man that blows the dust out of the combine.
Love the content and someone who is passionate about there industry and especially the kit they have one of the lads I know worked there and said he was a really nice guy to work for wish there were more guys like him to work for keep up the great content 👍🏻
6:28 Burley Hydraulics James: "So it doesn't faze you if you have to go and get the pipe underneath?" The very burly man: "No not really" James: "Crumbs" 😂
Glad to hear the dog was returned. My collie disappeared from the yard April last year and not been seen since, all very sad. How do the combine tracks cope with being "roaded" so far. No heating hopefully. Ollie Blogs had to use talcum powder for the combine challenge, went a bit further though.......
Again, brilliant attention to detail. I would have been spitting nails if that was my dog, taken off my land! (Surley illegal) here's hoping for the weather waiting to felled get hay in, forecasts are rubbish! 😢
Another great video. Having a compressor on our Jaguars is worth it's weight in gold. Hey what are the huge behemoth boxes on the front linkage of the fendt?
It amazes me that farmers don't fit Fire suppression system to their combine/s. We have 650 items of plant and nearly every thing is fitted with duel element or single element fire suppression units fitted. It has saved a number of loading shovels. A good system is worth their weight in gold.
Got a dog that looks just like that. He does tend to go walkabout and tag onto walkers if I don’t keeping eye on him. Not really the charity's fault, whoever picked him up should have checked with you first
Yeah, the dog napping thing happened to me, some joker picked it up on the farm, next thing I knew the animal rescue place rang me to collect my dog ( which was inherited) they said there would be a 40 quid charge.. I said keep the dog you robbing ba$tards! I would have gladly given a donation but that's daylight robbery.
Me thinks that a staff member from Woodgreen Animal Shelter saw Flynn the dog, and saw it as a means of generating some cash by picking him up, taking him to their place, checking the chip and saw you as an easy target for £49.00. Usually if someone sees a dog at a farm and is concerned they would call at the farm first and enquire there before doing anything else. I would report the incident to the police as a theft of dog. Woodgreen are so uncharitable. 😡
That box for the front of the combine is a game changer, with weather windows at times uncertain that reduces down time , absolutely genius 👏

Great video again James, hats off to you for running a very professional outfit. Have a good harvest
Love your banter with the team brilliant 👍
Yet another enjoyable ,informative and interesting video with an added touch of laughter, thanks James.
Hope you can keep the videos coming regularly through harvest, hope the weather improves for all farmers soon.
Good luck with your harvest.
Thank you for your insight into your operation and its challenges , cheers from an aussie farmer, with our very similar challenges.

Another interesting update James. Hope you managed to dodge the rain today!!!! We had some very heavy showers in Chelmsford.

Brilliant video! Can’t wait for combine action!

Chaser bin with water carrying capability a combine saver Seen in past tractor with chaser bin with water tank on front linkage

Just take into consideration he didn't want to pay £49 to a charity that rescued his dog a fire suppression unit is probably too much!
It will only change when the insurance company will not insure farmers unless they fit such systems.
Love your banter . Could you do some history on the business
James, it looks like the relief valve is after the meter?
Seen other farms claas combines with their own internal air line for cleaning
videos and the way you run your business is amazing can u get a second mic for when ur talking to other people ?
Mr Peck being extorted! 😂
Well run operation cheers
The dog will be nervous when your going through your costing spreadsheets could make it unviable and up for replacement!😅😅😅
Great Update James. Pity about the weather bloody nightmare with Rape being ready. £49 for a phone call????? Blooming joke. Keep smiling. 😊

Stick with milling wheats. You got them in the past now you have even greater capacity to combine.
You'll probably find that even though it's a charity it's a corporation. In other words charity is a front

Did you show pigs in the past James? A childhood hobby maybe? Fill us in about the framed collages flanking you in the office in a video sometime.
Well if your dog comes for a walk with me I'll only charge you £25!
