Another fantastic video lads!!👌🏻 Full of detailed information for everyone watching on all levels!
You lot, P.X farms, Farm Theory, Harry’s Farm, Finnegan’s Farm, I Farm We Farm, Olly Blogs and a number of other farming vlogs are the reason I’m cancelling Netflix, and all the other “noise” I have blocking up my tv and phone.
Keep up the good work, the likes of these platforms are the reason the general public’s opinion is changing in a positive way towards farming!👌🏻

Selling all this straw into either power stations or digesters has increased the straw price to unrealistic levels over the past few years. Unpopular opinion I know but true. Lots of livestock farmers are picking up the price increase as they have no options.

Only partially. A lot of these outfits are running where farmers previously chopped straw off the combined.
The high price of straw has more to do with bad weather. Last year's wet harvest led to farmers not leaving straw in the swath to avoid delayed cultivations. This year reflected the lack of carry over, and shortage of straw due to a lot of autumn planting failures/spring planting.

To be fair 95% of the straw we bale always used to be chopped, and never went to the livestock industry. And since brexit sheep and beef farming has never done so well!

I'm surprised if you're still falling for the carbon thing but i can see you're point of you can get money. The point is its a freud co2 is 0.004 percent, without it nothing grows at all and at half of what it is plants struggle to grow.

Over the past several million years CO2 have never been lower and plants have been suffocating due to low CO2. Greening have been happening around the world especially at the Sahara edges, not because of extra moisture (no significant increase) but extra fertilization in the air. Duringbthst time the climate has never been stable, as it is always changing.

We aren’t falling for anything to do with carbon we are just trying to make the most of a market that is up and coming.
