@@fareastwargaming you could cut some XPS foam blocks into shape and print a building texture on paper and wrap it around the foam. It won't be as good as 3d detail, but on camera, it shouldn't look much different. Hopefully it's cheaper to do that, can't say I know how much XPS foam is in Asia. lol

Jason took a decidedly light infiltration list. Honestly, AL are one of the more OP legions in the ZM format. Extra VPs are such a key factor in these games.
@@fareastwargaming Yes, I noticed the hide and seek going on when I got the last turn (my initial reply was halfway through)... I remember seeing the AL excel in those enclosed spaces before, where infantry (and contemptors) are king. So many sneaky rules. On the other hand, lopsided "win at all cost" army lists doesn't always make for a fun game :) I am a lover of themed armies after all (and have had my butt handed to me in large open battlefields where Scorpius and enemy elite termies were my bane)

Thanks for the appreciation for the armies. As for the game, it's unfortunate that it played out that way. We don't tend to script our games, so the viewer sees it as it happened. The fact is with ZM, due to distances, walls, objectives and the different reactions. The game plays a lot more cat and mouse. I don't think it would have been exciting either to see the EC walk out into the open and then get wiped off by BS5 melta and plasma shots. Leaving the back field open for AL insertion would have sealed the game for the AL. Also, the dice rolls on the EC Plasma were less than ideal and didnt do as much damage as was hoped. We'll be bringing more battle reports in the future with some more 'standard' clashes in the middle. So stay tuned.
