Good to see my legion world eaters in a game and appreciate all the work put into the channel so far.👍🏻. I can’t recommend a sqd or 2 of Rampagers enough. A 10-15 man unit of those in a landraider or your spartan will ruin anyones day. Give em falax blades and maybe mix in some meteor hammers for some +1 initiative attacks before the 4+ rending falax blades hit home. Averaging 5 attacks on a charge each they can pretty much go through anything. For fluff red butchers are fun and against average marines will do some serious damage. Not as good as they were but fun to use.
As a frustrated Telemechrus enjoyer, I feel your pain on the suboptimal character Dreadnought loadout. At least I get a combi-bolter in the fist instead of a heavy flamer 😅
The shorter format is easier for the viewer to notice what´s going on. So thanks for that. And the new army looks very good due to it´s weathered look. In regards to the battle: An idea would be to hide the large assault squad of the WE behind two rapidly advancing vehicles. Otherwise they are easy targets for the opponent. I am aware that you constrain yourself from bringing "The usual suspects" (e.g. death star terminator blob in spartan or lascannon squad) although to have any kind of staying power later on in the game I fear not having a large squad of terminators is making matters very difficult for an all-out attacking force. Apart from that dreadnoughts are still a huge problem. Even if you reach enemy lines and wipe the first squad the counter-charge of a dreadnought (WS 5 is the culprit here) will leave you reeling. Before your berserkers reach the opponent your shooting should be enough to either remove one dreadnought or at least severely wound it. Sadly this is still very difficult due to it´s monster status and force field.
All good points. Jason rightly stated that this wasn't the most 'optimised' force. Especially the inclusion of the Spartan. Dice rolls during the game were also as pretty large factor. He was really unlucky on quite a few rolls.
Bit of an unfortunate first run out for the World Eaters, the Emp's Children are particularly good into other melee focused marine armies because of that extra initiative on the charge, but still a very fun game! Look forward to seeing more of them!
Def my fav battle report . Love both legions . At some point i will be making loyalist emeperos children and war born units. ( war born was the name of the 13th leion before they were renamed to ultra smurfs) actually not a full war born army list since my 13th army is a sub army of the 13th legion aka 22nd nemesis chapter

I know I said it before but I have my armies much diff then everyone else as in;: Imperial heralds with just argal tal and the galvorbak in red [I know not exactly lore accurafe) War born aka ultra marines before they met their primarch and also the nemesis chapter And my world eaters are all still war hounds no angeon yet My final army is a all dreadnought army I, working on a iron hands with automata added with tech priests . Since the iron hand had a good relationship with the mechanicum
@fareastwargaming yes all my armies are pre heresy, war hounds/world eaters, war born/smurfs, imperial heralds/word bearers. All in crusade colors amd armor is def and logos, and or colors. I'm going to do dusk raiders/death gaurd soon. But the war hounds and imperial heralds have a rich history, and they involve the most duo tragedy-while they were best friends in the great crusade and start of horus heresy. They kept each other's humanity in check until argal tal ess murdered which set Karhn down to the the blood God. Amber king did a video amd it was so well done I cried, ngl it's heart breaking
Shame what GW did to World Eaters this edition, they were once the premier close combat legion (as they should be) but no longer. Everything good they had was taken away and in return you get the 'ravening madman" garbage and are forced to run a bunch of shooting units. I play the panoptica/centura rules now because at least fix some things for legions that got shit on by GW heresy 2.0 loyalist edition.
