Jesus this song has mood swings like a mug! Soooo many samples in here! What a tremendous sound.... Where can we find music like this of recent history? Damn...
Thank you Isaac Hayes for creating and leaving some great music down here on earth to be enjoyed by those of us who are here after your death. I am 65 years old and have listened to your music since I was very young. I was talking to a friend tonight and your music was mentioned. I immediately got off the phone and went searching for some songs on the internet and I was not disappointed. I have been enjoying a private jam session with you and your music for four hours now. I couldn't be happier. You were definitely "Black Moses." There will never be another composer, musician or singer like you. I am so glad I got to experience you and your music during my lifetime. RIP!!! Now, I must return to my private concert.
I forgot how beautiful, lyrical and dramatic this cut was. He was an amazing singer and composer. His music was part of the soundtrack of my life. RIP MR. HAYES
Det är vad allt handlar om. Man kan ha❤, eller förlora den. Kärleken är störst! Bring it back!🙂 En great stor soulsångare Isaac.ooh ooh ooh Denna klassiker. Tyvärr inte med oss längre. Han lever i våra hjärtan still.
For me this is one of those many masterpieces that HAYES did create in his career. The classic of the RIGHTEOUS BROTHERS has been rearranged and modified to this amazing piece of Soul Epic, that only HAYES was able to do.
All those lovely instruments so beautifully arranged to add depth and feelings to the song 🎵 🎶. It's like a mini soulful symphony orchestral piece to enjoy over and over... Superb and masterful! 🥰💕
This cover of the Righteous Brothers was SO kicking'!! The long, slow intro with the sparse brass chords just builds up fantastically into the main part of the song. Isaac Hayes could orchestrate like nobody's business! The man was truly a Black Moses. I miss him.
+mcbrion1951 He also knew how to work with other terrific arrangers like J.J. Johnson, Dale Warren and the great Gene Page...many of whom also worked with people like Bobby Womack, Wilson Pickett and Barry White.
As I listen to this music in 2022, I was born in the 60s, I can really appreciate artist such as Issac Hayes, he was so very talented, he was gifted in his talent, probably never got paid his true worth, there will never be another one that will come close to him, gone from this earth, he most definitely left a hell of a mark in my music GREATS, BLACK MOSES, SHOULD HAVE BEEN BLACK MOZART, THE BROTHER Was BADDD!!! Shaft soundtrack was one of his BEST!!!
The magic too his songs and I’ve been listening to Hayes since the beginning, Those marvelous background singers ❤️ Damn!! They unlike any instrument provided the bottom to his vocals. The essence too his music. The ending was sexy as hell.Tears falling..Heart breaking into pieces & finally It stops. Call 911 ! It’s in need of love 💕 CPR.
Butter Your Soul with The Movement that is to Be Continued by Black Moses 😎 Ike was so good that his music covers became originals onto themselves 👌🏾👌🏾

Amazing sound, creating such a sensual mood , let me dream and cry, feel the love and excitement, Mr. Hayes expressed his true , authentic vision of this song
This song just told everything that I needed to know about what I was about at that particular time in my life I don't think any other song ever matched.. my frame of mind for any time period that I was in
Donald McKayle, and African-American dance artist, choreographed this in the early '70's, it was fabulous, I saw it in L.A. with an all-black dance company from the Inner City Cultural Center

Yo, unfortunately you can’t.
But..the 70s & 80s got a music catalog so deep it’ll take you a decade to hear it all! Real talk!
@@rocjackson5975 Especially the 70s. The production of those 80s recordings often sound a bit sterile compared to the 70s.
The best of Isaac Hayes
This song brings back that Loving FEELING. Wali Rasheed ❤❤❤

...so deep .....tear inducing ....
this song exemplifies true and real musicianship! it was just a soundtrack in my mind just now......
He made every song he ever covered his own. His versions were usually better than those of the original artists.

Authentic! Marley Marl brought me here because of the sped-up samples.
