I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you. I have been collecting Skylanders since they first came out and I've continued to collect them up into about 2 years ago when I sort of just gave up. I have always wanted to have a complete collection of every Skylander, and I have made good progress. I have all of them for the first three games working on the 4th. One of your videos randomly came up and I chose to watch it. Listening to you. Talk about Skylanders has reminded me how much I love it. I can tell when you speak that you genuinely enjoy them and it makes me want to enjoy them again as well. I pulled out an old portal and enjoyed some superchargers again my personal favorite game. Massive respect for Earth being so high. I don't know how people say its one of the worst, it has so many classics. Bash, Prism Break, Dino Rang, Wallop, Crusher, Fist Bump, etc Probably my personal favorite along with Life
I'd say earth is my 2nd tied with fire, just slightly behind magic, simply no other element consistently puts out tanky bonk boys- can't beat magic IMO though as it was like the OG shadow element and got Pop Fizz
I do wish there was a Skylanders game dedicated to the Light and Dark elements, with a massive increase of Skylanders of the Light and Dark elements, which could fill up as many of the missing slots as possible.

Some element positions are more different than most and I respect that, my ranked elements would be: -10: Dark -9: Light -8: Undead -7: Magic -6: Earth -5: Life -4: Air -3: Fire -2: Water -1: Tech
honestly every element has amazing skylanders so it just boils down to what element has your favourite thematic/style. i love the aesthetics of life, magic, and undead so those are my favourite elements - whereas i don’t really like the aesthetics of earth, tech, air, dark outside of a few exceptions.
I feel like light and dark got the short end of the stick with the amount of skylanders they have due being introduced in Trap Team. Someone on the skylander subreddit named u/J'Ray15 did thier own skylanders if the light/dark was in SSA, which inspired me do make my own for the two elements.
As an undead type pf guy. EYE BRAWL has been my goat next to Chop Chop, while Chop chop os a tryhards wet dream, Eye brawl i cant let go cause ive mastered his eye laser technique which alot of people tend to gloss over sometimes in giants, but Chop Chop is just one of those skylanders you tend to tryhard with alot who can face almost every skylander in the series
Fire has always been my favorite Skylander element, I’ve always loved how cool it looked when my Skylander suddenly spit fire and burned all my enemies to death…I’m not crazy I swear..
air finally getting its due dilligence!! out of the ssa + giants cast i think, just after undead, air is my favorite. warnado is super fun (FIGHT ME.) and lightning rod is unbelievably powerful!
While I could put the newer elements somwhere in the first half of the ranking, I will say that I prefer the Dark Element more than Light. Many of the elements were interchangeable and would require some factors (characters, lore and logical usability) but for to put it simply. Water has the consistent great Skylanders in the roster. Fire has Sunburn in it, so yeah. But Air and Undead did not do well for me at all personally. (They are the two elements that I always end up having less Skylanders during my collecting days.)
My ranking would be 10. Magic 9. Tech ( oh no if you thought tech at 4 is a hot take ill need to go on lockdown) 8. Earth. 7. Dark 6. Life 5. Fire 4. Water 3. Light 2. Air 1. Undead
Honestly I love sheeps and I love painting and they combined them… and we got….. this…… I say she’s actually Underrated she’s a Sheep or goat and I like both she is a painting Skylanders and by my Calculations this is our First one… but yet they screwed up u wish peopel like her but.. she’s in Skylanders Supercharge. Hearing that tree Rex is amazing is the only true complaint I have not tied to how I like a skylander Tree Rex is effectively one of the worst giants, almost all of them are better except crusher and eye brawl who is pretty much as good. But people are blind to think tree Rex is the best one He is more vulnerable than hot head or bouncer, ninjini bouncer and swarm have a better mobility, thumpback ninjini hot head have better crow control... I could go on, there is a lot to say about how tree Rex isn't peak, at the end of the day you can say you like him, not that he is objectively better than bouncer thumpback and especially ninjini

I believe all 10 elements are equally skilled, Because it’s about what they specialize None is better than the other.
My favorite element is undead chop chop roller brawl grim creeper krypt king and pit boss are really cool and fun to use
If dark and light came out in a swapforce and had more time to have a bigger roaster of sky landers it could be much better.
