OMG, thank you so much for this information. I have been going crazy over this issue. This was happening to me in the middle of a gig. Since I have played in a while (Covid) I have a gig tomorrow for a 10 year Wedding Anniversary and I was going through some music tonight and it happened. Trying the SHIFT/SLIP did not work. when I saw you video I just pushed down on the top and it started working. Pioneer DDJ SX2 by the way so it works on other models as well. Thanks again man, you are a life saver brother.
Thanks. I haven’t trued the fix yet. Mine jus started doing this in the left deck last night. An had me worried. I hope this will be the fix. I’ll come back an comment if it worked for me , Thx 🙏 a million for this post
They appear to be all the same design, my Numark has the same problems, I dismantled it , checked electrical continuity between the jog wheel outer rim and centre mounting post, this wears slightly and you lose contact with centre spindel hole..when you put pressure on the platter...I coated the spindle with electrical grease and then added a some fine wire under the C clip and then replaced, a working ok now....
If all else fails before buying a replacement jog wheel, clean the sensor under the jog wheel. Just pop the back cover off, take sensor out and spray it with CRC solution contact cleaner.
I have the same problem on my DDJ-SR2. The right side jog wheel doesn't scratch on Virtual DJ but the left side scratch. However, both jog wheels do scratch on Serato DJ - which tells me that the hardware (DDJ-SR2) is fine. I don't know what to do
@@djjmoney773 In VirtualDJ, there's a reset button, I was worried at first resetting it but when I clicked it, it reset and the problem was fixed. I'm not home now but will follow up with you when I get home
whats up bro i wanted to know if there is a way you can reset ddj sr2 my controller is not conecting and the power comes on then go off any info from anyone would cool
Thanks for letting us know the FLX6 has the same issues with the platter.. let me know if you are going to attempt to fix/repair it... thanks for your comments
Perhaps you don’t understand English try a close captioning and or translator. Video does show you the problem and a fix. If this does not make sense take your controller to a local electronics repair or send it to pioneer. Have a good day sir.

Read my repair for this, it's a worn centre spindel, not making good contact....
@@lorrainedimmock4096 Where can I find this? Left deck just started playing up on SX3
Thanks you so much! I just followed your instructions and made my jog wheel work again!!!! Thank you 😊

Ehm how does this glue fix the problem?😅
Yes I would’ve like to seen an example of him useing the glue. An what kind ? Regular like Elmer’s glue? Crazy glue ? Etc ?
what kind of glue?
Does your ddj sr2 freezes? i got mine today and it freezes every hour, but i only reset the buffer size and it works good again
Rox Wex May be your computer specs and not the controller itself
Had it all the time, so sold it and went Numark, never froze again....
My fx freeze an go out. I quick power off an on fixes it. But still sucks to do in the middle of a live setting.
By any chance do you know how to turn the DDJ SR jog wheel on ?
Press vinyl
@@360MIX my bad, i meant the jog wheel lights
What if you don't scratch is there any other issues I should worry about before buying it what is better mc7000 of nsx6 2 or this

I wish u could have demo taking apart the controller
Thanks for watching. There are videos online on how to take it apart. You can start by taking all the screws out from the bottom plate.

Seems like you have a configuration issue with virtual DJ.. it’s not the hardware
I went to the setting and resetting it to factory setting solved the issue. I wonder what was the cause.
I'm having this issue with sb3. What exactly did u to to fix it? I use Serato btw if that makes any difference
