To answer the video's question, we begin on a cassava farm in Thailand - 0:38
Next, we're suddenly in the UK and told that uncooked crackers come from Indonesia and contain 21-38% prawn meat - 4:31
The filmmaker never shows us how the prawn is added. In fact, we never see a single pawn in this video. Did the producer think we wouldn't be interested in seeing how/when/where the prawn is added?

I'm impressed he travelled all the way to Thailand just to film that short portion of the video. I would be more impressed though if he also went to Indonesia.

They say prawn meat but it's actually prawn extract from extracting from the shells and insides of heads, a usual waste product from cooked / shelled prawn manufacturing, the same way things like shrimp paste are made, not that it matters, most of a prawns flavour is in the head, not the meat.

It's because cassava has been modified over the years.
So basically there are different types of cassava,
e.g in my country Nigeria, we have stems ( cassava) that called 2years( I have not seen this one, but mama said it was grown in her village in the early days), 1year 6months, 1year, 6 months, and the newest modification 3months ( and the worst)
The other cassava stems (2 yrs, 1,6 months) are called old stem in my state but are hard to find, I think some of them are extinct like the 2yrs stem.
And it (2 yrs ) could stay in ground for a very long time even after maturity and could even reseed itself. It also produced cassava mushroom ( I wasn't lucky enough to see that as no one grew them any more).
I don't no what type of cassava they be planting but I no most of this is produced in factory so u shouldn't expect less.
      They enhanced production = Profit.
Factors like variety of cassava and the fertilizer and any other enhancers ( pesticide, growth hormones etc) will affect the output aka quality.
