  • Hello,
    This dam affects lands which is further outside the forest.
    Mostly beavers are rebuilding dams. Rarely not. Hope this time they will disappear.
    DRONE FOOTAGE.

    This was a big project and must have taken lots of energy! There is always the calming sound of water and at this time of year the mists, low sun, and autumnal colours are mysterious and beautiful. The golden leaves in the drone shots are glorious -aspens or poplars?

    Very beautiful build dam with all the long straight sticks side by side. It looks like it gives you a hard time to dismantle it in the beginning. Nice to see the shift in the water surface, when you take a big chunk of mud and out and let it flow with the current.
    It must take some time with the drone to find the dam in some remote spot behind trees and bushes. 💪🏋️‍♀️👍

    At 16:48 something flies out of the current spilling over the dam directly behind your left heel. It shoots right at the camera and falls just short in the lower left hand of the screen between the bank and the stick in the water.

    Question. Have you ever tried just putting a hole in the bottom of the damn? Maybe put a pipe in that hole? I would imagine a tool, like a drill on a long rod. First cut in with a 1 or 2 cm diameter drill. Then come back multiple times with drill bits of increasing size. Then when you have a hole bigger than a pipe to put in the damn, shove in a pipe. Add a 90 degree down facing elbow into the water pool. It could possibly work to prevent a rebuilding of the damn.

  • @georgew.henkel3182
    @georgew.henkel3182 ปีที่แล้ว

    It is understood. If all the beavers are gone. You can not make any videos. But if you let the beavers alone. They will over populate the area. You will never keep up with all the extra dams. It would be wise to get professional people to control the beaver population. If you want to see the beavers at work. You can purchase a Wildlife camera. It automatically takes pictures and video of any wildlife. The camera is rugged and weather proof. You can see day and night. The Time. The date. How many beavers you are up against.
