Once again a great event I have missed three I've been signed up for two miss them both but my day is coming Bill/Deb and all you cargo trailer campers keep up the good friendship only in America❤❤❤
I'm new to your channel. Love it ! You present so well. Your vibe is like a familiar neighbor. Very good information. I'm preparing for life on wheels myself now. Can't wait.
"Highway alligator" refers to the occasional cap of a tire that is thrown from a semi. They look like an alligator laying in the road and can cause much damage if/when run you over them.
Very nice. My buildout is coming up on 10 years now and I still like tweeting things. These videos keep me up to speed and terrific ideals ! This is just another great example , 5 ⭐️! Scott, Lilburn, Ga.
Love the toilet made by Jack! I use one in my sticks'n'brick after tearing out a toilet for a renovation and while doing demo I decided I liked the no flush and water conservation so much I could never go back. (never say never! lol) but it would be nice to have it look so professional! Some JW friends built a tiny home with their sawdust toilet in a drawer so the bucket could be emptied from the outside! So many crafty ideas and folks! GA gal.
Great job Jack! It’s so nice to just press a button to extend or retract our awning but I would take one of those manual awnings any day. Every time it gets a little breezy we bring ours in because they seem so fragile.
looks good... I can only hope my 8x16 v-nose conversion will come out as good..... I like the ceiling, I used the bead board as well.... might have got a couple ideas to incorporate in mine.... I'm just at the stage of doing the cabinets... it will be an RV and mobile Sign Shop
4/28/2023 8 billion people should watch this video at "I Ride" tiny house adventures!!! This example by Jack (and all your other videos) could help save 8 billion people and 8 billion pets!!! G'Day
How would I find a guy like Marvin to help me install a solar system in my trailer I'm moving to saint Petersburg Florida. Love the videos Great Content! I have learned a lot watching all your videos
I enjoy all your videos. Not sure if that’s what I’m supposed to call them. Would have liked to know what Jack finished his ceiling with and are his tanks under the trailer? Could you let me know what video that you covered water inlet and tank outlets ?
I believe his ceiling is covered with bead board. We will be doing an in depth walk thru video on our own conversion in the near future, and we will cover those questions in depth.
Just for curiosity, if he spent a year trying to plan out the toilet, what was the total build time, I spent two years figuring on ours. Not that it is done, "you and the people you show give me other ideas," starting to wonder when I would be "done". :) great build!
I spent three months making mine camp ready. Then 2 years refining things. Put up some trim but really I’m still adding and changing stuff but we been using it for going on our third year
Nice camper. When & where is the next rendezvous. I don't do fakebook. (p.s. I thought I was having blury vision, but I think your camera lens was dirty. )
We have talked about the next Rendezvous in other videos in the last few weeks. We will announce the dates and location of the next Rendezvous 6 months in advance. For the foreseeable future, future Rendezvous will be held at US Army Corp of Engineer campgrounds. You can't reserve a site at COE campgrounds any sooner than 6 months in advance. As far as the blurriness is concerned, I try to remember clean the camera lens each time I shoot a video. That particular day, I shot 4 walk thru videos, all impromptu, all unscripted, in addition to everything else going on at the Rendezvous that week. Please forgive me if I happened to miss something one time.😌
So I built a 24’ cargo/toy hauler conversion and now I’m shopping for the best deal on an awning. So my question is what’s the best deal on a crank out awning?
I went another route and installed sun shades. I have a 20' Toy Hauler and I bought 2 x 20'x14'(each side) and a 30'x12' (across the back) and I use 6 x 8' fence posts as my off-hauler anchor points and I get 3 full sides of shade. on the driver's side I use that as a car port of sorts and the passenger and rear are shaded areas to relax under. Setup/take down times are about 40 minutes for all 3 and they roll up and store neatly in the hauler during transport. Not as convenient, but I spent around $350 for the whole setup. Another benefit for having the three sides, cuts down A/C power needs here in the Sonoran desert as the Hauler stays much cooler in the shade.
@@davidedwards5474 atm, I don’t, I’m at my home base and can only deploy 1. Taj-Ma-Haul is parked next to an abandoned horse stall. I need a drone to take one on my next trip.
Big Horn trailers by R&M. It’s a sharp looking trailer. I’m in the market and would love to know how this is holding up someone tell Jack to comment lol 😂.
@@billanddeb I’m thinking about asking one of them, but in all honesty I don’t know which one is the best. I know that I want an all aluminum trailer for weight savings and they won’t rust.
what I do not understand on a vast majority of Toy Hauler conversions is why you would install a solar panel under 400 or 500watts? The available space you have on the roof is so finite, maximizing your power is mandatory. he has 4x100watt panels, why not put one 400watt panel up there to start and add more as needed, or just put 4x400 up there from the start? a Canadian Solar bifacial 445watt panel cost me $185, and if that was your only panel - only 1 to mount, only 1 to wire have additional space for a roof deck or storage or future panels. Why the low wattage panels???
Maybe 400 hundred watts was all he needed for his intended use. Maybe he plans on "plugging in" more often than not. Maybe he will decide he wants more after he uses it for a while. The possibilities are endless as to why he didn't do it the way you thought he should. That's the beauty of building your own conversion. You do what you think will work for you. 😉
Very Nice cargo trailer conversion with that 040 exterior looking smooth as butter
Definitely makes a difference, doesn't it.
Great job on your cargo conversion, Jack. You always do a great job presenting these new conversions, Bill. I enjoy watching them.
Thanks 😊
Very nice rig.
😊 Beautiful Blessing Darlings. 🦋🦄🌿💜
Thank you! You too!
Like the seating/sleeping area.👍
Very nice setup.
Nice job a very comfortable home 😊 Good work!

I really enjoyed watching your videos. I am building out an ambulance into a camper. Next year I hope to come to one of your rendezvous.
Awesome
Beautiful build!
You did a great job in the walk through Bill !!

I love that he used beadboard(?) all over. beautiful

I hit a huge one off a semi once in my Pontiac Firebird and almost rolled it..
What a beautiful cargo conversion! Thanks for sharing Bill.
My pleasure!!

Sounds great!
That cover fabric is Sunbrella. It’s very high quality and fade resistant in direct sun. It lasts for years.
Thanks for the clarification. 👍
Neat rig.
What are the little white circle items on your ceiling? Love everything you have done! I am in the research.
I’d love to buy a 7’X16’ cargo trailer with 7’ height so that I can raise the bed when not in use.
Bill, the old fashion adjectives are much preferred over the new fashion pronouns. 😁
AWESOME 👏🏽

@"I Ride" Tiny House Adventures I am thinking it is like boat owners, it isn't done until you sell it. But then it restarts on the next one. :)

How much does the finished trailer weigh?
Don't remember covering that. I know he tows it with a Chevy 1500 pickup.

How about a Western meetup? Quartzite?
Maybe someday.
Dont know about the toilet fan being on the same side where youd be sitting ,eating , drinking and near the entry way 😬
I truly didn't smell anything at all inside or out.
What is the brand of this trailer? Does anyone know?
The brand is revealed at 8:30 in the video.

we’ll design tiny home trailer
It was very impressive for sure.
It’s too bad that you can’t find an enclosed Cargo Trailer in a Gooseneck format for small to midsized pickups.
Hmmm. I wonder if one of the cargo trailer manufacturers would custom build a small 7 wide gooseneck. I bet they would.
