KFalls is a town in slow decay. Were it not for Oregon Institute of Technology and the Jeldwin Corp, local farming would not be enough to sustain the town. In fact, the crooks in the Federal government diverted much of the Basin's water for the farmers. You'd really have to want to have a slow lifestyle to luve there. Btw, your Google Map voice did direct you in the opposite direction to get onto Hwy 97. Not many homeless in KFalls cuz the winters are very cold. Some past winters were so icy and snowbound it was nearly impossible to drive in town. Like Bend, KFalls rarely plows its streets.

Thanks for the info, I do remember going to the KOA a couple years ago, it was not as nice as I expected.
