    How cool and clever is this?! Talk about thinking outside the box! Brilliant.

    This is brilliant! I recently had a hair clipper malfunction. Since the pandemic, I have been cutting my own hair with clippers and while doing the back where the hair guard fell off. This has happened before, but I could usually make it look like I wanted to do that, but not this time. A quick youtube search provided me with instructions on how to wrap my head in a scarf (which I've NEVER done before) and I was surprised at how relatively easy it was and how well it stayed on. My technique needs work, but proof of concept was achieved and errands were completed. Now I'm in search of easy, inexpensive ways to improve the look and this definitely fits the bill. Thank you so much!

    How do you attach them though? I have a chin length bob so don't really have any hair to go inside it!

      I had even shorter hair when I first started wearing these. Could barely get any of it into a pony tail. I'd use whatever bit of a pony tail I could get to hold it for a moment while I put the cap on over it, at which point it was the cap and scarf holding it in place! :)

      How about a hair net if you don't have a cap?

    Do you attach it to your head or leave it "free floating"?

      It just sits on top of a bun and then there's a cap that goes over it all, along with a no-slip stretch velvet headband (videos for both linked in description) to anchor the whole thing AND help whatever scarf you put over it to all stay in place.

    Why do the women want to add volume under the head scarf?

    • @helenbrown8572
      @helenbrown8572 6 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      lafayette574 because the scarf hangs better and the shape is more aesthetic ☺

      Also for women with alopecia or undergoing cancer treatment.

      Adding volume under a headcovering looks more 'natural' - and, to most, prettier, for lack of a better word - because that's what we're used to, especially for women. I had my head shaved while in the hospital following intensive chemo and a stem cell transplant, when my hair started falling out in handfuls. I am glad to find this info on scarves and volumizers and non-slip headbands, as I haven't been really satisfied with any of the pull-on hats I've purchased so far.
