Yaaaaay thank you so much for this!!! I'm a convert and I also just started wearing the hijab for over a year now alhamdulillah! but I have moderate hearing loss on both my ears and the undercap and the hijab makes it that much harder for me to hear. I'm also gonna wear a hearing aid soon (inshallah cos they're pretty darn expensive) and the audiologist has told me that the hearing aid will constantly be interrupted if i have the scarf over it cos its gonna rub on the cloth and echo since its enclosed. This style with the ears out but the hair still covered will be perfect for me so THANK YOU so so so sooooo much for putting this up!!!!!!!

I'm not sure if you read my original comment but I have moderate hearing loss and need to wear a hearing aid which cannot go underneath the hijab as it will cause it to rub and make too much echo. THAT is the reason why I appreciate these styles because I can remain modest but also help my condition. Allah knows best
I think that's a pretty grave accusation and interpretation of that hadith. In no way do women who wear the turban fit the description of "dressed but appear naked" and its described as their HEADS appearing like a hump not a material object ON their heads. Women who wear the hijab also have that hump youre speaking of because its our hair wrapped in a bun underneath the cloth.
The fact is, I have a medical condition and even now as you are "advising", you cannot think of an alternative for me to cover my hair while allowing my hearing aid to be out in the open. This turban style is the way to go and I just don't understand why you find it so wrong? I still want to cover my hair but I also want to be able to hear

All three styles that you show are absolutely beautiful and it also lets me pass on in different options to my daughter who's a little bit so inclined to where his job but I think with this I can show her and younger sisters that they can be fashionable beautiful and more importantly covered!!!

If a non-Muslim were to wear a hijab is that disrespectful to a Muslim? I often cover my head just because I like to wear head wraps.I love how the hijab looks and wouldn't want to offend anyone.

I am not Muslim, but I lived in the Middle East for 7 years and I love the art of wrapping the hijab. I wanted to do it while over there but didn't want to offend the Muslim community, as a Christian by wearing the head-wrap. But I love it and will wear it bc its so beautiful and I have the head for it lol.. thanks for sharing Omaya. Now if I could just learn Arabic and how to do the make up on my chocolate skin lol..Whoop Whoop beautiful girl..: )
You will not offend anyone, Virgin Mary wore a hijab as well. My family is Christian and granny used to wear a head scarf all the time, is about how pious you are. Same with Jews.
To offend??, of course not, head scarf is not worn only by Muslims, in my predominantly Christian land women have had covered heads their whole life.

Many people in the comments section are saying that the way Omaya is wearing the hijab is wrong because she is showing her neck. However, many people don't seem to know that there are many scholars, predominantly from the Maliki school of fiqh, who have ruled that the upper part of woman's neck is not awra and thus can be left exposed. As long as there is legitimate difference of opinion in a matter, you cannot blame someone for following the one that is less strict. There is nothing wrong with wearing this style as long as some material is worn to cover the lower part of the neck, which she is already doing.
Sarah Fields thats not accurat .the awra for women infront other women is from bullybutton to knees.but infront others all of her body is awra.the Q is what is awra means cover .not nessisary strangel i mean she is covering her neck in the video
Sarah Fields don't follow some scholars coz it will lead you to astray most of the scholars nowadays are refuted and have fabricated hadith due to the modernization of the world Qur'an is the best guide. I really love to wear this hijab but afraid to break the rules though Allah knows best.

hi honey, thank u so much for being honest about how do you feel toward our Hijab. yes its for Muslim girls but if i personally saw u wearing it even though ur not Muslim I will be very happy and would appreciate it and will never feel insult . to me Hijab is who I am as a Muslim girl it's my identity, my protection and it's telling others how precious i am, cause not every one can see the beauty of my hair and body. and that's a part of the message that my religion is trying to tell here.
Islam did not invent the hijab, so technically we do not really "own" it. Personally, it's makes me really happy when I see non-Muslims wearing hijab. It makes me feel a sense of solidarity with my fellow human beings who belong to different faiths :)

turtlenecks doesn't cover the neck fully. There are full underscarves that covers the chest and the neck and you can wear it underneath a turban.

This is from among the miracles of the Prophet Sallallahu alayhi wasallam, because it has happened exactly as he prophesied fourteen centuries ago.

I had all my hair shaved off for brain surgery in August 2018. Ever since, I’ve been wearing the turban shown in the first tutorial, and it looks really good 😊 I’ve received lots of compliments, and I don’t feel self conscious or unhappy about having no hair.

This is the way that the Jewish women cover themselves we are not allowed to intimate another religious customs look at the story about the adhan and the reasoning for it. Plus this is not the proper hijab I'm not hating just any sisters that need the advice specially that those type of videos they take inspiration for.
