Awesome Story and Video Brother! I would have tore that cave apart!😂😂 Could have been an old mountain man from back in the day. I remember when I was a kid going across 282 to Ellijay, Georgia. They use to be an old mountain man that lived back in the hills. Sometimes we would see him walking down the road. Had big bushy hair and a long beard. God Bless Brother
I love hearing your voice telling these stories!....I feel Nate was alive during the Depression era....succumbed to an illness...pneumonia maybe.... And died in his little cave home...it was still his home...for whatever reason he didnt move on into the light of God...and was letting the teen know it was still his!! Teaches us to be respectful in any endeavors....
Amen to that D! Thank you so much for the kind words 🙏 and also thank you so so much for watching and enjoying. I bet you're absolutely right! It definitely makes sense fir sure!! God bless and have a mighty good'n!
Another great story. I think it was a early traveler/settler going through that area and was using the cave for shelter and passed from natural caused or an injury. Because the image that was seen had a beard rules out native american because they never had beards. Also the writing being in english seems to say it was not indian.
Thank you so so much Melissa!! 🙏💙 im so glad you enjoy so much and thank you for the kind words 😁💙🙏. I believe you're right. I don't think it was either. Love you bunches God bless and have a good'n
The Spanish were all over this country as early as the 1500s. Some of em probably stayed. I would've. Theres nothing like these Appalachian hills. Id rather be here than anywhere else. Great story!!!
I really enjoy your stories and tales of the Appalachian mountains, Jared, having lived both in the Appalachians and foot hills most of my life... As for the spirit the young man saw, I suspect it was not Native American, but more likely that of an drifter or possibly that of a fugitive from the law that met his demise in that cave.
Howdy Douglas! Thanks so much for watching brother. Yeah I believe you're right cause If ya really think about it, it would make more sense ya know. Thanks again. God bless and have a good'n

Hi Jared! Glad to see you felt well enough to send this story out tonight! It is certainly a very scary one!😲 It also touches on one of the few things that I will not investigate; a cave! They are one of the few things I am just NOT interested in! (Of course I have my reasons!) Based on Doug's story, I'd say that it was not a Native American found in the cave but I don't think it was a pioneer either. The tin cans and the writing that got illegible as he grew too feeble to go after food tell Nate's story. I believe that it was either a man from the depression era or somebody running from the law. As they were metal cans, the earliest tins widely used in the US were during the Civil War, so he could've been a deserter but I doubt it. Nate could be white or black but he was old and hiding so a soldier is not my first choice. The period between 1860 and 1949 would be when Nate died in that cave. People forget that there was a depression after WWII also. The Appalachians were hit very hard then. Dating a can would probably tell you more about when (type of metal) and possibly who as cans had factory location stamps until the 1950s or so. Hey Nancy!!! 👋😃 Thank you so much for watching. Im the same way.. I don't like caves! I'm always afraid it'll cave in on me lol. You be right about ole Nate and about the era! That’s a good un Jared, my personal opinion is he was probably a captive of the natives Americans and they cast a bad spell of his spirit lingering to torment anybody that came across the area in which they killed that old feller. Keep em coming brother and yall be blessed in the name of the Lord!!
Hey Judson!! Thank you so much for watching brother. Yeah you may be right man I mean it would make sense!! God bless you brother definitely lots more to come 🙏
Caves scare me I think they are all haunted Wow bones in the cave I think it was a early settler spirit in the cave he saw Jared how are you doing with the health problem you had

I accidentally pushed the send button I was not done, Nate was letting him know that he's still there and scaring him so bad that he wouldn't come back he wanted that cave all to himself again

Hm. I think old Nate was making a point to the young fella that it WAS still his cave. Cans and paper certainly sounds like someone had made the cave their home for whatever reason. I really don't think the bones were any of the first nations people. There would have likely been grave goods and more than one body if it was. But I could be wrong. Glad you're feeling well enough to post. Blessings and all good things to you. Phoenix 😁

Maybe he got in there and ran out of wood or flint or matches and got trapped in the dark and couldn't find his way back to the exit. But, he died there somehow, and no one ever found him. Possibly, no one around that area ever knew him. But sometime or other, he had carved his name, "Nate" into the stone so that someone, somewhere, sometime would know that he had been there.
My guess is He's a got lost in these unfamiliar old mountains and maybe it was cold and had snowed and he was probably almost starving and found cave and went in to get out of cold and layed in there an died. Just a guess.
Hey Joaquin!! Yeah I got it brother and absolutely LOVE it!! I just haven't had a chance to reply but yeah I sure got it and will be telling it! God bless and have a good'n Kinfolk 🙏
Nate was probably the name of the man whose bones were found in that cave. He may have been hiding in that cave, or he could have lived there. He could have been put there, after he was dead. Nate may have been a child who played in that cave at one time. If they did not keep the bones and teeth (a DNA test cannot be done to try and solve the mystery). What became of the bones and teeth?
HEEEEY that's a good point I didn't think of that! It's very possible!! I don't know what happened to the bones an teeth. Makes ya wonder though cause nowadays they could do all kinds of tests. Thanks so much for watching Kinfolk. God bless and have a good'n
I know about this section he was an elderly man whos wife passed before him he had developed something similar to Alzheimer's and he came up missing never found he had heart conditon him and his wife built that home
I believe alluvial mine caves are hunted. That people died in I think he owed mine was working got caught in mine couldn’t get out no he was not native Indian They won’t go in mines. ♥️🌹
Even if that ghost looked like a settler, it's important to know that white people have had and still do have children with native tribes people. Lots of folks look as pale as fine China but are still members of a tribe. You never know what race someone is.
Yeah that feller caving said it was Nate!! Who knows, may gotten snake bit or something. Thanks so much for watching Jana! God bless and have a good'n! 😁💙🙏
No telling, but our teeth and facial structures are very different from those of white folks. I'm not an archeologist but I can tell the difference between them if I'm looking at remains. Maybe the bones were from a white man who was a hermit, not right in the head, or had committed some bad deed and was hiding out to avoid getting hung and ended up dying there from illness, starvation, snake bite, or whatever. If the bones were from a Native, there's no telling why he was in there, but many hid out during the Removal and stayed hidden to keep from being forced to leave the land of their birth. He might have been old and frail and wouldn't have made that long hard journey as it was done in the middle of the harshest winter on record (and done so just to kill even more Natives along the way) so he or his family hid him in that cave and there he perished.
It could have been an early settler it could have been native American I feel like one thing's for sure it was a lost soul too long not Departed Lord be with everybody
God bless you so much and I love your wonderful videos ❤.i watch your wonderful videos every day.😊

Hi Jared! Glad to see you felt well enough to send this story out tonight! It is certainly a very scary one!😲 It also touches on one of the few things that I will not investigate; a cave! They are one of the few things I am just NOT interested in! (Of course I have my reasons!)
Based on Doug's story, I'd say that it was not a Native American found in the cave but I don't think it was a pioneer either. I wonder if anybody ever tried? 🤔 I hope they retrieved the fellow and buried him. All deserve to rest in peace.
Y'all take care now! May God bless you and yours. 😊

HEEEEY that's a good point I didn't think of that! It's very possible!! I don't know what happened to the bones an teeth. Makes ya wonder though cause nowadays they could do all kinds of tests. Thanks so much for watching Kinfolk. God bless and have a good'n

Even if that ghost looked like a settler, it's important to know that white people have had and still do have children with native tribes people. Lots of folks look as pale as fine China but are still members of a tribe. You never know what race someone is.
Hey Kinfolk! Thank you so much for watchin, it's truly a blessin. God Bless and have a good'n! 🙏

Hey brother! Yeah that's VERY POSSIBLE!! Thanks so much for watching Kinfolk. God bless and have a good'n 🙏
Hubby is Eastern Band Cherokee and they did exactly that to hide from "Old Long Knife"
I think it was Nate and he just died there
Hey Terry! Yeah it probably was. Thanks so much for watching. God bless and have a good'n!
