You made me cry, in a good way. Times are tough out here. I have a 9-5 job and struggle even getting paid decently. I don’t get any help just solely my income with my daughter to take care of alone. I been looking for anything to do extra. I love how you explained and put your heart into this video. You are a real and lovely person, I like a lot of those fake tictok side hustle scenes. I have a bachelors degree in graphic design, but since I became a single mom all my energy has been poured into my little one. Now that’s she is 4 I am now ready to jump back on the horse and hustle till I make it. I want a place to call home for us. Please reach out to me and help anyways you can 😭 😭 💞

Don’t forget the cost of extra car insurance for ride share/delivery… if you don’t have it and they know you were doing one of those jobs, they’ll deny your claim (your own insurance, not the other parties).
@@halo9lady yes that’s a great point however with most rideshare apps I know specifically like Uber as long as you are on a ride they have coverage for the drivers and your vehicle is insured by their underwriters …I have been very fortunate to not have had to use it but that also means I don’t know the ins and outs of how they will process the claims…but it is most definitely worth looking into.
@@TramesseNikole yeah you should be ok if the rides hate company is covering you and your car. I was a liability adjuster for a short time with Allstate. In training we learned that some companies didn’t yet have this policy, but they were all moving in that direction (you know…any reason they can find to not pay…). After an accident, the adjuster will ask “what was the purpose of your trip”. This teenage kid admitted to me that he was delivering pizzas. Since the accident was his fault, his coverage would pay for the other car, but I had to deny coverage for his car. I felt so bad for him… I just want people to be aware of it. Really any car used during a business purpose (like someone transporting materials to a house they are working on for money) could be denied. I think it’s super crappy and shady. Side note…absolutely hated that job.
@@halo9lady oh trust me insurances as a whole sometimes just feel like a big scam smh but you have some great knowledge of insurance since you worked for the insurance companies it’s always helpful…well thank you for helping me educate my followers and viewers 🥰 I appreciate it ! I how you subscribe I will be putting out new videos very soon ..I am just an a transitional period at the moment and need a min to focus on what’s happening.
Thanks, so for and of the Ride share or grocery delivery apps they will send you a tax form in the mail, however with baby sitting or braiding hair you would need to report that income to the IRS directly, however that is only if you make over a certain dollar amount(speak with a tax professional in your state for the minimum filing limit) Personally none of these caused me to "owe more" taxes at the end of the year but there are other factors that come into play such as your write offs and overall income as to what tax bracket you are in.
