I wouldn't compare Dinobot to Starscream at all because Dinobot has attitude. And for Terrorsaur I can see what you mean but as far as I remember he never betrayed Megatron. So to me Tarantulas was more kinda the new Starscream.
Let's face it, Beast wars was full of characters Starscreaming eachother. Except everyone was actually competent, So hey were better at Starscreaming than Starscream

something I noticed a little while ago about the transmetals; if you compare the transmetal figures to their original counterparts, even the transformations were specifically engineered to be similar in feel to the original version of the character; same parts move in the same ways, just with enough differences to make them feel unique.

But stuff like Cheetor still having beast forelegs on his back and Rattrap's sizable yet iconic backpack, I can totally see that being deliberate nods to the old design.

For example, the way transmetal rattrap is engineered, his robot mode bits fold up very similarly to the ones in his original flipchanger form, with the hips folding under the chin and the chest coming from the head, while the arms come out from the sides. Airrazor in particular has an almost identical transformation in both forms, and the hydrofoils on the transmetal version's wings are even derived from the original's wing blades, while the basic figure's weapon, when mounted on the underside of her forarm, does resemble the transmetal version's talons. when folded, Tarantulus' rear motorcycle wheel strongly resembles the missile that stuck out of the back of his abdomen in the original figure, and the abdomen is even molded to resemble the gun inserted into its top. Similarly, in robot mode, transmetal Terrorsaur's backpack is molded to resemble the pteranodon head that he once posessed in his flipchanger form. In robot mode, it is possible to position transmetal Megatron's turbines over his hips to resemble the missile launchers that his ultra class toy had. The Transmetals 2 took similar efforts as well in several cases. go ahead and compare transmetal 2 Dinobot and Cybershark to their original figures. You'll find many deliberate similarities in their transformations.
my magnaboss' silverbolt never suffered gps, i actually broke his tail connector and head because i applied too much force, but nothing else has desintegrated, even today i keep the leftover bits and they feel sturdy and dont even have any stress marks, so gps might be common but not THE RULE, anyway, always liked airazor as a character but never liked HER original toy, thats wy i got a ko tm one and just recently got the rmada version
Still have mine from my childhood. She's missing any sort of small parts that could be lost (the lower bill, shoulderpads, her weapon), but she's held up very well otherwise.

personally i think that's kinda cute i think transformers should have more gay and lesbian characters i think it will make the transformers universe more believable
Well, then James Robert's Idw comics should satisfy you. Considering almost the entire race is gay, and most relationships that have even an ounce of focus on them are gay. Hell, he and a few other writers changed the entire race's biology in order to make most of them gay.
