In this video, I will show you how to make a American Hunting Triangle Bow. Using the most common three-stage structure, upper and lower bow pieces and a bow handle. Thank you for watching my video! Hope you will like it.

@@whome6764 Look at 11:58 - you can see her hand grip on the string perfectly. Maybe that's not the best grip, I'm no archery expert, but that is what she is using. And left handed, obviously. I think she is self-taught in everything, and that is probably what she has found is best for her. I have watched all of her videos, and apart from seeing her making some astonishing things from waste materials, it is very obvious that her archery has improved a lot over the past two years.
I remember my Dad making bows this way, laminating fiberglass sheet , back in 1962 or so , I still have one 🙂 Thank you for bring back such pleasant memories ❤
Xiao Qian Feng's skills in making triangular bows and archery are impeccable and professional. I was amazed by the pressing technique using a wind hose.
A "wind hose?" Y'mean that was just a piece of garden hose with some extra hardware, so that she could pump it up? How resourceful! She is very talented.
I started shooting archery recently. But you made a bow a long time ago. You have greatly improved from the past, using other techniques to create new bows. I really like to follow and watch the creation of bows and other things.
Your skills never cease to amaze me! While this isn’t the first bow you’ve done, it’s always fun to see the process in creating these magnificent creations of yours. I seriously hope you continue to grow more in viewers and subs and hopefully one day more and more get to see the amazing work you do
You've been a fantastic artisan of many mediums, facets and skills for a very long time now. Love the archery show at the end this time too. I will always look out for anything you create. So nice to see your channel grow like it has over time. Your artistry has no comparison that I've seen anywhere. Wishing you continued peace and creative genius from America.

Xiao Qing Feng archery skills in making triangular bow and arrow one of archery are impeccable and professional.❤😍🥰 I was I love it looking good!!!!😁❤️❤🥰🏹
What a wonderful build! I used to make bows when I was a kid along with my friends, nowhere near as good as this though, we used to go to the woods which is right next to our family home and was once part of Sherwood Forest and our old village is mentioned in the stories of Robin Hood, To make our bows we would cut a branch of ash wood we would then zip tie the branch to a steel pole to minimise any warping during drying and place the branch in the boiler cupboard for a month or so which was always warm as our hotwater and heating was coal fired, we got the coal free as my dad worked at the local colliery we just paid for delivery which was practically nothing. Once dried we would cut the bow into the basic straight shape and then finalise it with a draw knife and wood chisels and then apply some coats of preservative and then the final sanding, we could not afford real bowstrings so used nylon twine which worked surpisingly well, I once got hold of a length of catgut and replaced the bowstring with that. Our arrows were made from hazel or willow usually as it grew straight, we dried it in the same fashion as our bows and sanded it straight and fletched it with feathers if we could get hold of them, if not then cardboard was used, these methods were learned over a few years, our first bows were nothing more than a long stick and some string. Once our bows and arrows were completed we would hang homemade cardboard targets from brances of bushes and trees in the woods and we became Robin Hood and his Merry Men during in our summer school holidays, I might take up archery again as one of my retirement pursuits, I dont think I will be playing Robin Hood in the woods though LOL
This video fascinated me. It started with how you focused on shooting the arrows, then how excited you were. Then I noticed your beautiful historical garden wall and that you appreciate your beautiful residential area. I liked the children's playground in the garden the most. Of course, the bow turned out excellent, but I liked the surrounding area even better! Many dear, warm greetings from Germany.
I must begin with you're amazing at everything that you do. FYI Something I learned a long time ago about Saws is the reason the ends are Square in Shape is so they can be indexed or rotated to change the blade direction. When you were cutting, with the saw frame very close to the workpiece that would have been a good time to rotate the blade so that only the Blade was going that angle while the Saw was more upright. You just loosen the blade, back it out of the holder, rotate it, then tighten it back up. Yes it takes a bit of time so I was had two saws, I regular and the other already rotated, to save a bit of time as I did a lot of plumbing over the years and found I need both configurations often. You might be ok with the occasional change not to justify the cost of a second saw; to each their own... Great work as always...
I don't know if this is an ancient technique or one created by you, I just know that it works perfectly well, congratulations on your dedication and the incredible work you do.
You’ve got mad skills girl, both as a craft woman and an archer! Someone taught you well, your process is thorough and deliberate. Thanks for a very satisfying video about bow making! 👍💪👊
No, different bow built a different way. If you subscribe to the channel you will see all of Xiaoqian's videos and you will be able to see for yourself. She is amazing.
She is amazing, but You have to stay in Chinese to keep ladies this way. I been dated Asian women for 20 years... Sadly all the ones that come here, want to be like other American women, which is why I kid my ex-wife out.
Using the hose filled with air to create even pressure across the bow is really ingenious, I feel like most of us would have slapped some clamps across the mold and called it a day and be left wondering why there were still air pockets in it. I'll have to give it a try sometime!
Absolutely amazing. Such a beautiful piece. You made it look so easy. You have amazing skills. I would love to buy a hand made bow from you. If it is possible. 😁Fantastic video. Thnk u for showing us how to make one. 😃👍

Hi
What style of hand grip do you use to hold the string while shooting?

"Air hose" would be a better name. "Wind" is moving air (usually outside).

Great build. Really impressive archery skills, especially hitting the swinging bottle.
Thank you ! Your processes to build are always very interesting 🙂
Great Job 🤩❤👍
I haven't watched the full video yet, but I see a "re-curve bow" in the making.
It is the better way of a bow.
She didn't make a recurve bow.
She did do very very well on a regular bow.

This beautiful moment where the two components unite... 🎉😍🎊
Hello Xiao you're very🔝🔝
Stunning, technical, beautiful, artful, and historic.
Using the hose filled with air to create even pressure across the bow is really ingenious, I feel like most of us would have slapped some clamps across the mold and called it a day and be left wondering why there were still air pockets in it. I'll have to give it a try sometime!
It’s a standard way to clamp laminates in a bow press.
