This is the first time I have made a double recurve bow, if you like this kind of bow that can change the draw weight, I will update it to make a triple bow in the future!
Hi. It's nice to see you back. In our country, we had a group of soldiers called the 'Kendal Bowman '. They used Long Bows made usually from Yew trees. If you've got time, it would be interesting to see you create one. I think they're about 1.5m in length, and probably made from one piece of timber, although I'm not an expert. I only use a junior bow,. and it's made of plastic or something. Mind you, I use Rage Arrows so don't anybody get too close! In a world of total chaos that we live in today, your program is a total joy to watch. Thanks again.
You have proven your building skills many many times. The patience used to sand the wood, making the bow string, and just wrapping the bow with fine string is amazing. Loved your cosplay outfit.
It really is like meditation. Watching her use nothing but handtools is driving me up the wall as much as trying to sit still and think of nothing does.
Thank you for sharing the journey of making such a beautiful bow 😊. You are very talented at making anything you set your mind to and capturing such enchanting (and calming) footage to share with your audience. Keep up the good work, I look forward to your next project!
This was a beautifully built bow. As always your videos are calming and a joy to watch. Sadly, they are so calming that I usually have to watch them twice, having been calmed into snoozing the first time round!
I've never seen anyone make a bow string before. That was interesting to watch. Nice final product! I think the tri-colored kitten is going to try to make one too! She seemed to be studying you.
Wow! I have not used any but custom commercial bows, but looking at what you do makes me appreciate more what goes into bow-making! And yes too you making that triple bow in your next adventures! My recurve bows are 80-100 lb draw weight at rated 28 inches draw length..My personal draw length is 32 inches so they are much more powerful than rated specifications.Much luv from Tokyo,Japan! Since that bow you made is about 26 lbs draw weight, and you handle it well, I will challenge you to make a bow of 50+ lbs draw weight ,and see you challenge yourself!
A proper saw and a workbench wouldt hurt eighter. Gets your fingers out of the way and whatever your working on properly clamped down which avoids injury and helps with speed and accuracy as you'll have both of your hands on your tools.
@@Bl4ckSer4phClearly it wasn't unnecessary as it accomplished the desired result. Also I know of many wood workers who use metal files wood as an extra fine rasp.
@@gregb8095 sure, but it wasn't fine-tuning, she needed to remove quite a lot, so a coarse rasp would be much better choice (hence the "unnecessary" effort)...
The patience and calmness with which you work is unbelievable. Producing something like this with the simplest of means requires masterly skill. My utmost respect (my grandfather was a carpenter and worked a lot with woodturning and all kinds of gravers. Tools that make it _easier_ ).
Such an amazing job! I've never seen how bows are made, but this video broke my expectations of the bow making process. I thought it's a very complicated mastery, tons of tons tools... But this master made such a beautiful bow with just a few instruments. She showed me, that any person, who's interested in such process, can recreate or at least, create something more or less similar. Thank you for showing the whole process, the result is completely stunning! ❤❤❤
It was more of a "watch me make" than "how to make" but still very interesting to watch as it comes together bit by bit. Very cool to see your whole creative process as it flows naturally. Superb final result as well. Not a single detail was overlooked. Much respect.
With simple, cheap and basic hand tools you used to create that bad ass bow, lady you are amazing and skillfully talented. Love that and kudos to you. 👍🏻🌹
I love the variety of materials, and the variety of skills needed to compose them in such an elegant way. It is both a tool, and a piece of art. Truly magnificent.
Absolutely incredible, here's me just pretending in VR, and you are doing it in real life, and actually making bows to! Just incredible and fascinating to watch.
Neat. That's got to be one of the cleanest and best decorated shops I've seen. And I love the menagerie watching you work, especially the flock of chickens that hop the wall just to watch.
I am always impressed by your careful and delicate craftsmanship process. I think the bows you put your soul into are very happy. I am deeply impressed and respectful of your wonderful work.
beautiful work. I always find it easier sticking the Siyahs or ears on first then handle after. this gives a nice flat surface whilst doing so and enabling perfect Siyah and limb alignment
Your video gives me a lot of inspiration for my own techique. We do not have to go after rules - we have to make our own rules if we want to have our own original bow.
Fantastic video. Beautiful bow build. Your demonstration after the build shortening the string between each adjustment & poundage measurements explains wonderfully the purpose of the double bow (Penobscot Bow). Beautiful video.
That's a beautiful bow! Penobscott designs are fascinatingly complex. The video was also really good, I loved calm it was rather than trying to be high energy and "exciting".
Woah… I have never seen a bow like that before tbh! But as someone who’s done Archery before, I would definitely like to try it! Another amazing video! Honestly, your videos always bring a sense of enjoyment to them! I just enjoy watching the craft going into making some of the stuff you do!
That was pretty awesome! Archery is just the best, I prefer bows over just about anything. Amazing work, I love the outfit you were wearing at the end of the video, it looks very pretty on you.
At first I was really questioning the materials. But when I realized I this is a modern bow with aesthetic surfaces, it was much more understandable. Very good job. Nice project.
I'm not the only one who'd wanna commission her to make a custom order, right? I mean it was beauty and practicality. I'd pay a good amount for a bow that beautiful
In this style bow and arrow etc. I love doing it. I am interested in such projects. My projects are not limited to these. I have technological projects. You are just like me.👍❤️

You are very talented young lady, I love all your work and amazing artwork and see your work come through from start to end bring passion and inspiration. Keep up awesome and amazing job XiaoQianFeng ❤🌹♥️🌷♥️⚘️.
Hello. Fellow bowyer here. The build is amazing, loved every step. If I may suggest an improvement, the current design is somewhat slow if you do the math of your FPS gain to 40 pounds you'll be at around 140 fps a lot of fiberglass bows sit at around 170 fps at that weight. You could make the handle curve give a more aggressive recurve and then glue another piece of wood so you have a comfortable handle (since the change would make the handle a bit uncomfortable). This will increase draw weight but will also increase FPS due to the bow really wanting to pull back farther. Smaller Siyahs would also reduce tip weight increasing FPS. All in all I loved this build and will give my hand at attempt it soon. Great work! You're amazing at this!
This is the first time I have made a double recurve bow, if you like this kind of bow that can change the draw weight, I will update it to make a triple bow in the future!

You do amazing work. I like that everything is done by hand with only hand tools. It’s all very impressive, keep up the great work!!!❤

I love how calm your videos are. Your patience in the way you create is an inspiration to all of us.

Today was a good day. It got even better when I saw you had posted a new video. Always a joy. You are so talented.
Says the 60 year old pervert
Did not expect it to be all hand tools. Such dedication.
yeah, great effort, sadly partially unnecessary... like filing wood with a file meant for metal...
indeed. other so called DIY are like: "You can simply made this, out of a piece of wood...... and those power tools worth 250'000"

There is more instruction later, maybe the earlier one have been forgotten, as i have to admit, most of the first part is just free of explanation
With simple, cheap and basic hand tools you used to create that bad ass bow, lady you are amazing and skillfully talented. Love that and kudos to you. 👍🏻🌹
Wow! The Double Recurve Bow came out fantastic, you are truly talented. Your bow shooting stance and such is also so wonderful to watch

20:30 I love how the way she walks to retrieve the arrows like how my little sister trying to get the frisbee.
All jokes aside, that's a really nice bow... I like the way she added extra strings.

A beautiful, "practical", work of art built by an incredibly skilled and talented artist! Thank-you! x

第一次看到這種可調節磅數弓 非常有創意
也不能算有創意 畢竟這種弓也存在好一定時間了 不過她的手作能力的確很好
At first I was really questioning the materials. But when I realized I this is a modern bow with aesthetic surfaces, it was much more understandable. Very good job. Nice project.
Hand made, brilliant! Your patience is admirable 👍😊
