The vase with Persephone came out beautiful! Just the top of the head could do with some soft clay rubbed in, before the wax, but I love it!

On the Persephone mould I have watched/seen several projects. I think because of it being so large and heavy the clay seems to sag and change the look of her chin, etc. I think it’s better to do her in resin so she maintains her correct shape. I’m getting that mould tomorrow and am making her into a cameo plaque to hang on an antique door that will be out in the garden. Thanks for your time and for sharing.

The shape of that pitcher is gorgeous and I absolutely love how you flipped it.
The more I work with the paint inlays the more I love them!
You can also pop your clay , while in mould, in the freezer for bout 15-25 min and it makes them super pristine
I've heard of others doing that. I haven't tried it yet.

I really like your Persephone vase!! And I appreciate you posting it even though you weren’t sure. It’s a great reminder about how much shrinkage you could get with a mold that size that I’m not sure I would have considered before seeing this 😊
The thicker the clay the more it wants to crack and shrink. I'm glad i could help :)
I am loving your videos! I really liked how the glass vase with Persephone on it turned out! It does look like concrete and I love it! I also like the way you tell us what price you will probably put on your items. I’m in the South so I figure my pricing should be around the same as yours. ❤

A lot of people say I price to cheap up here, but I want my items to sell quickly.
Your projects are so beautiful but I can;t believe you charge such a small amount for them considering the cost of the IOD products and your time spent sourcing items and making them over. I would pay more for your projects if I were buying them, they are so amazing!

The market is different at both my locations. One spot I can price a little higher than the other.
But I do keep in mind that I want my items to go fairly quickly and not sit in my booth forever.
I also struggle with knowing my worth ;)

Market is different everywhere we sell.
If the item is a true antique or vintage it sells for good money
your prices should be double at least! YOU ARE SELLING YOUR TALENT SHORT
