Hey, I own and surf the Moe 7-2 as my go too and really love it. Going to Indo and worried it will just be the wrong board so considering the mid 6 as similar and 40lt.. How does it go in hollow powerful waves etc
Yeah I love it especially on hollow beach break days. I've had it up to thick double over head kegs no worries. I'm sure it'd handle more in the right hands.
@@harleyingleby Yep, I discovered this in your interview with Dan Mann and so was sold on it. It benefits the consumer in the long run i.e board lasts longer. Benefits the environment too.
Love your surfing. Which mid6 do you like for crappy but sometimes hallow east coast beach break. I'm 95 kilos. I was thinking 7'10.
what do you normally surf? Longboards or Shortys?
Wish there was a 7’2 version around the 44L mark.
I’m 6’5 and 95kg and the 7’ is prob just a bit too low volume for me.
is the 7'6 too big? Don't be scared of the 7'10 it's a lot easier to turn than you'd think!

It’ll be the perfect companion to your Moe! I took the 7’0 Mid6 to Fiji recently and Indo last year. Definitely handled it and felt great there.
Can the Mid 6 handle hollow beach breaks, steep drops? Where does it max out for wave size? Thanks! Looks super fun

You think a 75+kg geezer can expect to duckdive the 7'0"?
Shouldn’t be a problem mate.
What length? What fins? Too expensive down in Australia. No-one will buy boards priced at c. $1700-$1800. That's silly.
7'0, Reactor large quads.
I think the answer to this question of price is the longevity of the board due to the strong construction?
@@jbt7926 they’re made out of the most premium materials and take a very long to time to make one. And yeah they’re bloody strong..
