I got to work with de Virgilio as I was reading his book. He also gave us med students small lectures in his office and he is amazing! His book is an essential.
@@Skepticalstudent45 surgery was good, intense but the type that keeps you comming for more.......personally liked plastics and ENT experiance ...............glad I got to complete this rotation face to face in the hospital right before covid hit my country........and zoom classes began for the other rotations for the year
Can you make a vid on your journey to medschool? Like sharing what you did in undergrad (extracurriculars, stats,etc) if you’re comfortable sharing that

No problem, I’m so happy they help! The sidebar here should have the step 2 ck decks: www.reddit.com/r/medicalschoolanki/. I’d look through a few there and see what style you like/what you have time for. Iirc I went with Wiwa because I’m slow going through cards and it’s built on uworld (though I might’ve done at least some Dorian as well, which has uworld, ome, devirgilio, Emma, nbme and amboss. I’ve since deleted my decks so I’m not 100% sure how much of each I completed or if I tried anything else (sorry, it’s been a while). Hope that helps
She’s in residency so it’s been a while, but she said “If I had to guess, I’d say it was the visitors deck. It was very detailed but I liked it because I would learn a lot from the cards”

Yeah, it’s expensive, but very helpful for each rotation, and probably necessary for step 1/2. Maybe you can see if your school can get a group discount.

Starting surgery on Monday, I'm anxious. Like this so that I can come back and give feedback. Fingers crossed.
