Hi Mauro, first of all thanks a lot for all this interesting videos, I realy appreciate it. There are not many vendors like Lelit who share so detailed technical information with customers. I have a problem with my Mara X - did not found a suitable video to solve it: When I switch on MaraX everything works fine heatup starts, no errorcode on the leds- at the end of the heatup phase (about 15min) the boiler presure rises very high so that the needle is at about 5 o clock. There is a lot of steam comming out of the bottom of the machine (the water sink) - this lasts about 2-3minutes afterwards everything is ok and Mara x works as epxected. I think during the phase of very high boiler pressure the safety valve on top of the boiler open to avoid overpressure. I can also share a video of the effect if necessary It does not happen if the machine was turned of for 1hour or so and is still warm, but happens e.g. on first start in the morning. I hope you have an explanation for that an can help me out Thanks
Same problem on my machine since a few days - my group head thermometer shows temperatures between 102-107 °C, so way too hot. At the moment my machine is about to cool down to fix the leakage - I hope that fixes the problem of overheating at my machine. My Mara X is from 09/2021 by the way.
@Lelit insider I don't understand the reason for removing the 2 silicone hoses from the 2 golden valves just in order to check if the water level probe is leaking. Could you please explain? Btw: I also have MaraX from 9/21 bought in 12/21 and the Issue that in Coffee Mode and PID 0 the E61 temperature is 96-98 °C, and sometimes even 102-108 °C. In turn I have never issues with milk frothing as by boiler pressure is always between 1,2 an 1,5 usually very stable at 1,5. My reseller believes that my temperature probes needs to be exchanged to fix the issue. Do you believe the reason is rather the probe leaking or a combination of both reasons? greetings and Grazie mille for your awesome videos!
I have the overheating steam pressure remains at 1.5 bar for too long, sending the coffee exchanger into overheat. I have searched every joint and cannot find a leak. Iv spent hours with a small mirror around all possible points of a steam leak and no visible leak. Is there anything else it could be?
@@tanyaarkadyslov1676 I contacted lelit care as recommended, and they suspect I received a faulty electronic card. They have shipped a new one. Just waiting for the shipping before i can tell if its fixed
I have exactly this problem too. Is the fix to unscrew the level sensor and apply some teflon tape to improve the seal? And is it neccesary to empty the boiler first?
th-cam.com/video/xaF3a8Uw2ak/w-d-xo.html it is important have no pressure inside in the boiler, remove the power coard and work when the machine is cold
I have exactly this problem too , 11.2021 production date , fix with teflon tape . I think problem is material of the washer between prob and boiler ,which is unable to absorb temperature expansions cycle correct , and after few months leak :/
The machine keeps heating constantly and does not regulate to the temperature setting you chose. Because of the small leakage of steam the machine thinks it has to keep powering the steam. The steam pressure on my machine was always around 1.5 bar. Once it drops to around 1.3 bar the heating pushed it back to 1.5 bar. The temperature in the group head was at over 100 degrees Celsius.
Hi Mauro! I have a problem with the MaraX, with the light for water sensor - it started blinking intermittently today, but there is water and the machine works correctly. Is this a problem with the cable maybe? Video here: th-cam.com/video/PbKNyvcEvhs/w-d-xo.html
questo e' un problema del led, si sta' bruciando, va' sostituito, puoi mandare una mail a care@lelit.com? con il link del video e la foto della targa dati?

I encountered the same problem... do you have found a solution?
Hi could you show how to mod the original mara X like the new black logo to Re-direct OPV discharged water to the water tank

How did it go?
@@Giantmdgt I sealed the probe with Teflon, now everything works fine again and the temperatures are in the expected areas around 93° C
@@Reloaded20 Could you visibly see the steam leaking out?
@@Giantmdgt Yeah, not very much but a litte bit

Seems that a lot of machines from 09/21 has this problem of the leaking steam at the water level probe...
