"Los preludios" es la más bella obra del maestro Liszt. Y esta interpretación de la Orquesta Sinfónica de Galicia ha sido hecha con mucha calidad musical. Extraordinaria. Gracias por compartir.

Amazing to say the least .... Bright, and clarity of each instrument is truly one of, if not the best Orchestrations that I've ever heard, and many thanks to the director of which we sometimes forget to mention. ... and yes both my brother and I used to watch Flash Gordon (Buster Crabb) in the 1950's. We tried forever to find a recording of the theme to this 1930's produced movie(s) only to have painstakingly found it in a music store years later.... Bought, and played the heck out of it, and that was just the beginning of the great FRANZ LISZT!
Hermosa presentación del poema sinfónico cuya calidad de ejecución es comparable a las mejores orquestas sinfónicas de Europa. Me recuerda la interpretación de la Academia Filmus de la TV de Polonia ejecutada con la misma coordinación de sus ejecutantes sin menguar el diálogo instrumental. Agradezco haber disfrutado este video de muy buena calidad y aplaudo con entusiasmo.
These people are really good! This is the second recording by this ensemble I have heard, and they were outstanding both times.

My first exposure to this piece was as a kid in the 1950's attending the Flash Gordon serials on Saturday mornings at a local movie theater. I was entranced and still am as an adult. (I just hope Emperor Ming doesn't make an appearance!)

El hecho de que sus obras, fuesen utilizadas por el nacionalsocialismo, para nada, tiene que ver con su personalidad ni credo político, porque Ferencz liszt primero, era nacido en la Hungría del imperio Austro-Húngaro, era nacionalista húngaro, así, que nada tenia que ver con las ideas del III Reich, llevaba ya mas de 40 años fallecido, cuando se inició el régimen del cabo1ª Adolfo, pero el bueno de Liszt, nada tenia que ver con "el noticiero alemán" .

Ein bisschen leichtgewichtige Aufführung dieses majestätischen Meisterwerks im relativ langsamen Tempo. Leider nicht so spannend wie erwartet.
Same old, same old... this is not an interpretation but a rehash... and very hashy...too bad. Please listen to Mengelberg or Kocsic for the real deal !
