- Usually it’s a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, but EgyptAir did not have enough Dreamliners to use for Newark. So they decided to bring a 777 just for that Newark flight.

The air is thinner in a hot climate, especially in a desert region. So the engines have to work extra hard to give more power.
