We finally get to experience the Yorke Peninsula in South Australia at its very best! This episode was filmed over Christmas and New Years and we had so much fun caravanning around the Yorke with good mates in epic places.
In this episode we:
- Tow our caravan on the beach for the first time!
- Enjoy Wauraltee Beach camping over Christmas with a bunch of travel friends
- Visit the spectacular Daly Head campground with panoramic views over the ocean
- Explore the Innes National Park and enjoy some of the best beaches in South Australia (Shell Beach, Dolphin Bay, Browns Beach)!
- Leave the Yorke and say a sad goodbye to our mates as we head for the Southern Flinders Ranges towards Melrose

We used to spend every Easter at Wauraltee for around 10 years but it ended up with to many other people there and we could not get down on the beach. Beautiful place though
Yes it was very busy last year! It was a great spot though and like everywhere is getting more popular with the amount of travellers about.

Great video guys 😊 Yorke Peninsula is a fantastic spot for holidays I have a shack at Fisherman Bay I am there now make sure you stay at Perlubile Beach 🏖️ on your way west it's about 30 km from Streaky Bay I reckon you will see Just Vanning It there they are going West aswell cheers legends ☺️

As a south Aussie the alcohol is the best and for a large gum tree in Spington near the barossa valley is a gum tree was big enough to make into a house for the early German settlers ,i think 4 kids and there parents lived in it in the late 1800,s.,it,s still there as a tourist attraction.

Cheers, a great part of the world for sure! Yes they are pretty good, not sealed from dust which can be a pain if mounted externally but a good bit of extra storage. It’s from Aussie traveller 👍🏼

Haha we do hike a fair bit so wasn't too bad! We returned along the road, Im not sure if there was another track? Plus it was a nice 25c when we did it, gets much hotter out there 🥵

Gday TJ & Darren! The Yorke really turned it on for us this time round 🙌
That is a Tesselate towel, one of the sand free ones. It's twice the size of a normal towel so great for a beach blanket. Fun fact we won it in one of Sarah and Keelans instagram giveaways way back when. I don't even think they were full time travelling then!

Yep sure do, I had the van and cruiser fronts running 20 psi and the cruiser rears on 28 psi. I just bag the rears on the cruiser down til the footprint looks the same as the fronts 👍🏼

@@our.australia.trip. good to know, my van is only a 12 footer, with an fj cruiser the tow vehicle,handy info at 60 i prefer not to shovel Lol.
From what I've been told, by the people who have been bogged is not letting the van tyres down will make it act as 1 big plow. So as soon as you hit any real soft stuff it will bog down quick smart! Plus the van will tow much nicer overall. Im with you there mate, 5 minutes of deflating beats half an hour shovelling anyway 🤣🙌
