Camping in Sydney…Do we hate it?! Royal National Park and Wollongong + The Sea Cliff Bridge [EP66]

How can you support us? ouraustraliatrip.com/buy-us-a-beer/ In this episode we camp somewhere we never thought we’d camp: SYDNEY! We start by camping at Bonnie Vale Campground in the Royal National Park and after being a bit taken aback, decide to stay longer to explore what Australia’s first national park (and only the 2nd in the world) has to offer! Thanks for sharing another great video, the NSW South Coast and Victoria Gippsland are fantastic locations and you guys are doing some great filming. At least with the manual gearbox you're not worried about the gearbox temperature, I'm towing with my eyes glued to the SGIII for ATF 1 & 2 and the EGT's. Coolant temp is mostly always OK and I'm only towing 2200kg but I mostly switch to manual mode to eliminate the torque converter slip. USA business is going to market it to death until no one uses it anymore. I've predicted HipCamp will get expensive fast. It could be worse Evans Head Reflections Park at peak time for us is $100.00/day for a 4 week camp, next year is $104.80/d. We used to go to Huskisson quite frequently when I lived in Sydney for a while, it's a great little spot.

I loved your reviews guys of some of my favourite places. JB is an amazing place in the world and I'm so glad that others can experience the beauty either for themselves or via videos like yours. Yadboro is also an amazing place. But please. Please. PLEASE call JB J-ER-vis and not J-AR-vis. Jervis is the correct pronunciation and I couldn't help but cringe at the "other" name LOL... JB is also the safest bet, short and sweet... Its definitely a topic of contention in the local area 😂. I hope to see more of your videos in future 👍🏻.

One of those flat top mountains you can see from Yadboro Flat is called 'The Castle' and if your fit and know the way you can hike with a back pack to the top for some glorious views. Probably best to camp overnight at Cooyoyo Creek Campsite before hiking back down else it will be a very long day. Also on the way in along Yadboro Rd is 'Pigeon House Mountain'. Well worth the hike to the top of 'Pigeon House Mountain'.

Thanks for an interesting insight into a part of Australia I don't know much about. Thanks also for the reminder to all your followers about the importance of a (turned on) UHF on Ch 40. Communication is pretty much a safety tool when towing a van. I use mine all the time - not just in the outback. Yes, you may get the odd bit of gutter chat but just park up your sensitivity while you focus your safe driving. It surprises me how many people have a UHF radio but don't use, or perhaps don't know how to use it. I once tried to contact a couple who hadn't clipped down their pop-top and it was flapping everywhere. They had an aerial but I couldn't contact them on Ch 40 or 18. I reckon they probably learnt an expensive lesson and can only hope they arrived safely at their destination. Thanks again. Safe travels.

Thank you! Its the same gopro but i have been tinkering with some color grading, just trying to improve those 1%rs! Great to have someone notice & its something that will get better over time too when I figure it out! 😊
