Great to hear visìtors impressions. We came across for a Sunday drive 40 years ago. Stenhouse bay was used to ship out gypsum to Adelaide until the roads were good enough for trucks to befaster & cheaper. Pt Parham is at the end of a military firing range. Very noisyacross at Ardrossan last week as they fired shells toward Parham. The flat trajectery allows them to be recovered from those mud flats to ensure they did not self destruct in the barrel!

We totally enjoyed our visit. Fantastic area. I have been driving passed the Port Wakefield/Parham area for years and was aware of the firing range but had never explored the area around it. Yes, it would noisy when they are testing. I spent some time living in Roxby Downs and we could feel the blasts when they were testing at Woomera.
Thank you for watching, hopefully you tune in for more of our adventures!

Cape elizabeth is by far the best beach camping within a reasonable drive from adelaide. Been going there for about 10 years and it was actually looking pretty tidy for you guys. . . . Seen some horrific trash left by useless scumbags which is a shame because it will end up being unaccessible aome day soon i suspect.
There is heaps more to explore than you showed and lots of cool tracks behind the dunes and through them but it changes every time i go there because people have no reapect and create their own tracks trashing vegetation.
Theres even a renegade who has been laying apikes in the dunes i guess trying to stop people trashing it but it just ends up ruining peoples tyres for no reason amd is potentially dangerous. Been going on for years now on and off. Google cape elizabeth spikes and you will see. Stupid really but i can see why . . .
    Nice vid 👍

Thanks for the comment. We really enjoyed our stay at Cape Elizabeth, and we plan to return one day. We didn't show a lot of the rubbish in the vid. It is a shame that a lot of camps like that get rubbish left around. Agree that some will be shut down if the campers using them don't start taking more care of them.
We actually took quite a bit of rubbish with us. Love the area.
