Lyna's VA was one of the most pleasant surprises out of a expansion that already had pretty amazing VA work, she rocked practically every scene she was in. I was really happy to see her VAs name keep popping up in the credits throughout EW.

2:37:00 "I love how they took that dungeon formula and just went 'yep' ". While the formula works, I often wish for more variety. The now-standard FF14 dungeon formula of 2 trash groups, 1 boss, 2 trash pulls, 1 boss, 2 trash pulls, 1 endboss has become rather stale and too predictable in my opinion. With the dungeon "Matoya's Relict" they promised a "non-linear, looping" dungeon, however it fundamentally is just as linear and formulaic as the others. Sometimes I get the impression that they are too afraid to wander off established formulas with boss- and dungeon design, reducing potential, originality, creativity and surprise.
I think they know people rarely do dungeons or just want to spam through them for roulettes as fast as possible, so they try to keep them as simple as they can or people will complain
@@minmodulation yep, dungeons got narrowed down for a reason, it's because of how much people hate the ARR ones that aren't hallways. Let's be honest, none of us like getting them in roulettes, having new ones won't make them more fun. We'll still just look for the fastest route to the end and get pissed if there's mechanics and exploration gating it off.
if you've ever done lldr and got something like dzemael darkhold or brayflox longstop, there's a very good reason why they don't do that type of dungeon anymore, and its that those are *terrible* to do on replays, especially because they make the new player/veteran split way more noticeable, and often causes a lot of friction between people who don't know and people who do. I agree that the current formula has become rote, but it definitely exists for a reason.
I get that. At first I bet megapulling all mobs up to the boss felt "big dick" but it's been years and making the mobs more lethal might not only improve the gameplay experience but also show just show far you've come as an adventure that trashmobs could level cities
i dont know what it is but something about one of the big bad villains of the game just following you around like the joker having his own kinda fun is just well...fun XD
@@andrewpaul8732 There's no such document as Square Enix makes no distinctions between third party tools. All of them are equally "illegal" in their eyes. They have no detection or anti-cheat software, though, so the only way for you to get banned is for you to let yourself be caught using them by people who want you gone from the game. If Preach were to become the target of a mass report campaign, he would probably get a temporary suspension just for these speech bubbles.
