@@joevo2 Depends on if you value your time. The other day I spent many hours assembling a new build with a frsky rx4r on a F4 flight controller and on the maiden the quad dead dropped from 20 ft after 30 seconds and broke the vtx. this binds to the frsky d8 in the jumper? well...the jumper says "v8" lol
Thanks! I think it is the frsky in the jumper.

výborný přijímač, FRSKY je super
Wasssssupppp bro,,for all the clowning frsky doing with their costumers this would be awesome alternative for the price, nice for micros
Hey wasssup man!! I'm all about trying to save on the cash and this here is a money saver! Thanks :)
Goodbye Frsky for ever
You can't scratch losing the Drone using this receiver.
But its not crsf . Crsf is the best reciever out there
where did he say its CRS fire ?? or you just entering random information which has nothing to do with the video or a D8 receiver ?
This would be your alternative or better yet a replacement for the FrSky xm or xm plus receivers for builds you don't use for long range and at $7.99 it is very affordable.
Of course CRSF is better but it also cost 4 times as much. If is for whoop and you don’t need long range. This have its purpose too :) where as CRSF have its own. Personally I use CRSF on my 5” and D8 on whoop
@@joevo2 Depends on if you value your time. The other day I spent many hours assembling a new build with a frsky rx4r on a F4 flight controller and on the maiden the quad dead dropped from 20 ft after 30 seconds and broke the vtx. Luckily I had the goggles recording to find out it did give a rx loss message (while being 20 ft from me). After many more hours and another new rx4r I was able to consistently recreate the issue on the bench and there was some issue with s.port wire causing it. Clip that and it was fine. Installed a crsf micro v2 and no problems. Now, was it something specific to the flight controller? Was it the multiprotocol module or its firmware on my radiomaster? Was it the accst firmware on the frsky receiver? Everything was up to date. With that said the crsf just worked. I keep being retaught this lesson.
@@spyder000069 to be fair crsf had been great for me. But I too had one fail safe.
What I’m trying to say is that no system is fool proof. Just use whatever you can afford and are comfortable with.
Like I said personally I’m happy with crsf and using it on my 5” and toothpick but for whoop since most have lower powered vtx d8 is sufficient for me.
I hate these thing what a pain in the behind everyone is different. The interface is a pain. Then on top of it all you can not put it down it starts beeping and beeping,...where is my hammer?
Will this work with the tyro79?
yes it will work with all betaflight boards and more.
@@RCEscape Ok perfect looking at getting the tx12 remote for the tyro79 I just bought
I see in your video you maxed out at around 1km range? But I've seen the i6x go to about 2km range even though its suited to a couple hundred meters. Why is this?
@@madladdan
it will greatly depend on the terrain and location.
@@RCEscape Ah I see
