    How are you doing with the low cpu profits? Was going to get a cpu mining rig for nicehash but then profits tanked

    • @_HashForce
      @_HashForce  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I was loving those Nicehash profits too, but the thing is (in this Bear Market) you gotta be in it, waiting & ready, to catch those profit-waves. Thats just how it is in a bear market. Im personally about Break-Even profitability right now, and Im just fine with it. Cause Im holding everything Im mining until the real Bull Market comes, and when that happens my current Break-even will turn into 10x what it is now. I think now is a great time to buy hardware even if it dosent make much, cause once its profitable the price of hardware will rise with the higher profits.

    • @ConnorSproule
      @ConnorSproule ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@_HashForce Well im curious on that, how were cpu mining profits back then? Did they really 10x? Because if so then this will be like gpu mining back then lol

    • @_HashForce
      @_HashForce  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ConnorSproule The most popular old school CPU coin is Monero and it went as low as $29 in the 2019 Bear market. Monero went to over $500 in the 2021 Bull Market! Thats like a 17x! But the odds of timing the bottom & top exactly are like winning the lottory. Thats why my preferred strategy is to be in it, and mining consistently. There maybe days im profitable and they maybe some days im break even or slightly negative, but over all…. when that bull market comes… i’ll be in the profits no doubt, just as if I was making profit this whole time. I call it Electric Cost Average. I have a video on it. check that out 👍🏼

    • @_HashForce
      @_HashForce  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ConnorSproule Also theres Profit-Switching mining pools that switch your miner to whatever is most profitable, and lets you get paid in may different coins of your choice. Thats what Im doing 90% of the time. I mine whatever is most CPU profitable and then get paid in different coins that I want to keep. ZPool, ZergPool, ProHashing, unMineable are examples of such. I'll make a video on this in the future

    • @ConnorSproule
      @ConnorSproule ปีที่แล้ว

      @@_HashForce I prefer to mine on Nicehash, what coin do you prefer to get paid out in? I'm probably going to do a mix of eth and bitcoin but idk about eth because its becoming way too centralized

    Hi. show bios settings for b550 for cpu and haivos settings for LTC, what pool are you using.

    • @_HashForce
      @_HashForce  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I can do that. Maybe in a future video. Also Im happy to help out with any questions, just comment on any video (I reply to all comments) & im on twitter @_HashForce.
      nothing special in my B550 bios. Im running fixed 3.8mhz CPU speed & undervolt at 1.0mV. Each CPU is differeny some some take just a touch more like up to 1.05mV.
      Right now im on ZPool mining Ghostrider (profit switching for every Ghostrider algo coins), and being paid in Litecoin. Thats why in HiveOs it shows im mining LTC. The LTC halving coming soon so this past week im stacking as much LTC as I can get before the halving. Also LTC is great for transactions and trading so thats why I like it right now. Search ZPool (or ZergPool) HiveOS setup and you’ll find videos on it. Ive done testing and found ZPool to be better for me, but they work the same way. 👍🏼

    I'm a fan of tge darkbrocj pro 4. Keeps my 5950x cool without making noise when transcoding movies for plex. But my cpu miners are all epyc 64 core. Nhu14s kept it at 60 in 100 degree porch.

    • @_HashForce
      @_HashForce  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Oh those are both very nice coolers. In my situation I dont worry much about noise. Although I do have this Peerless Assassin on my 5950x editing build and its not loud. The mega benefit of these are the price. Search nhu14s vs peerless assassin. You'll be surprised how close they are in performance.

    I'm sorry my brother but the best budget cooler is still ,even in 2023: the SNOWMAN, $25 USD, take it or leave it, it's actually beating the cooler you advertised in your video :)

    What motherboard you are using ? And its still possible to add gpu and mine with both at the same time ?

    • @_HashForce
      @_HashForce  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      im using many different types if Mobo on these rigs. Most of them MSI, and they are x570 x470 b550. Yes all of these can CPU & GPU mine at the same time!

    • @Miner0807
      @Miner0807 ปีที่แล้ว

      Cool, thanks for reply. I like your strategy. Im mining with over 60 gpu today, but wanted to dive more into asic. Not sure about that anymore..

    • @_HashForce
      @_HashForce  ปีที่แล้ว

      @weedar82 oh nice! I had 60+ GPU during Eth mining too. I still love GPU mining. With ASIC there is much corporate mining to compete with. But in this bear market with lower equipment prices i beleive its one of the best time to get into mining (no matter what equipment type). My CPU miners have been the most consistant for me. Making between $0.40-$1.00 per day. They are 90w-130w each. Its such low power I just mine and hold,. The CPU miners have been very effective for me & I really enjoy them too.

  • @josephspruill1212
    @josephspruill1212 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I live off grid. I would have to build electric sys and all. Big ASICS is out the question. Yet they make minis and cpu even chia hard drive mining doesn’t use much electricity. Weather miner, geo miner, helium, air miner the list goes on and on. There are mini cpu nodes that you can stake on etc. I don’t NEED the money so it’s goin to be a hobby. If I don’t make but a few hundred a month I’m happy. Yet,I’m hoping to get to 1k a month total. If I can I would work that buy and sell strategy to keep new equipment once it’s paid off etc. I’m more in for the staking and trading. Mining is just goin to help build that stash up so I can stake quicker. Like I said I’m starting this summer myself. 10kwh is what I’m hoping to get my electric sys for mining too. Let’s see how well I can keep that hash rate to a dollar a hash per machine. Like mini doge 2 is 400h/s @ 420w @ 3 cents a kWh. That’s if the system last for 10years. I’ve heard of some ppl systems lasting 20-25. If so that’s only goin to bring the kWh price down even more. Everything is rainbows on paper time to put my money where my mouth is….. That 10kwh sys is 15k on paper how much more will I have to add etc. it could take 20-25k. Only time will tell
