There's a reason why he spends 95% of his time indoors, in a gated community and keeps an axe next to his front door. If you ever needed proof Phil is disconnected from reality, this is it. This is the equivalent to marrying someone, finding out they're cheating, and then getting told "Well you never said that wasn't allowed." The short story is: There are some things you shouldn't have to say to a person. Such as, don't use me for money, and treat me like a respectable person. When it gets to the point where these things need to be said, it's already defeating the point because they're just a shitty person.
