How many hours do you clean because it's absolutely immaculate...I love your cottage but the kitchen could do with a lit more colour infused maybe a bright pot or something to bring it out.
Thank you so much 😊 well, I did do a deep clean before filming 😂 so it isn’t always so pristine! Generally I do try and do a little each day to keep on top of it. With regards to the -lack of- colour, yes, absolutely! I have small bits of blue, but I think I’m becoming braver with colour and would love to start incorporating more into the cottage… is there a particular colour you think would be good? I’ve recently read about the “red theory” and found that very interesting, so I’ve bought a few red accessories for the snug. X x
You have done it wonderfully. This gives me inspiration for my french cottage, where much is left to do. Small rooms, light, and a calm, not too overloaded choice of colours and objects make it à heaven of peace.

Hello Angela, this is one of the most beautiful home tours I've ever seen, and I have seen a ton! This cottage is gorgeous and then you guys have added to it meticulously with perfect design! You really know what you like, and it shines through beautifully! This brings back beautiful memories for me because when my husband and I were young and had two small children, we lived in England in a little cottage in the countryside in Methwold for a short time. Snug as a bug. It's hard to decorate with wonky walls. Doesn't allow you to decide what goes where. But it seems to work in the end. Lots of History here!

Sometimes we wonder whether we’ll outgrow our Hideaway Cottage, our son is now 6ft and he’s having to duck under the doorways and beams haha…maybe we’ll need to get a bigger (or taller) home eventually! @@hideawaycottage We live in Tucson Arizona currently. Not my favorite environment or climate but this is where God had us right now. Grateful for our lovely home, friends and family here. 🥰
This is one of the nicest homes I’ve ever seen ❤. I would move in in the morning and I wouldn’t change a single thing. Such a creative home, I absolutely love it and I’ve always had a thing for old cottages. Love how you left the wonky beams and used a platform for your son’s bed - real respect for an old building. Your home is so lovely and serene. I love the way you have decorated with calming blues, greens, and whites. I saw so many sandpipers that I think yo could rename it Sandpiper Cottage. It may be the most charming cottage I have ever seen. The film work was wonderful, nice and slow and picking up all of the interesting details. Very nicely done. Oh I loved this! Especially the outtakes that showed if your personality. I’d love to see more with you chatting or doing a voice over. Maybe you do do that, this is only the second video I have watched as I found you about half an hour ago, so I haven’t watched everything yet. Your home is delicious and I now feel the urge to clean and tidy mine. Not a lot encourages me to do that with a glad heart!!

Snug as a bug. It's hard to decorate with wonky walls. Doesn't allow you to decide what goes where. But it seems to work in the end. Lots of History here!

I love the way you have embraced the cottage style, but kept it very light and bright. Many of the old home restorations I see are a bit dark and oppressive for my taste. I love your home and your style!
