Grand Master Woody owns the camp that brought Muay Thai to England. He has been teaching and promoting Muay Thai throughout the world his entire life. He is the President of the World Muaythai Organization (WMO), Kru Muaythai Association (KMA), and the World Muaythai Boran Federation (WMBF).
Jade Marrisa Sirisompan and her father, Master Woody, are managing the school. Luktupfah is family run and therefore, at the camp, you make sure to feel welcome and at home and have the best professional training during your stay.
All of the trainers have very impressive resumes, with an extensive history in Muay Thai as retired pro fighters and certified by the Kru muay Thai association as Muaythai Teachers (Kru). They also have excellent knowledge of Muay Boran.

What is the main difference between Muay Thai and Muai Boran?

Muay Boran refers to the siamese styles prior the 1930's . That means before boxing gloves, boxing rules, etc. Pretty much more like a kind of MMA fight but a bit more brutal. They used ropes to wrap the wrist as well. Muay Boran styles had significant amounts of grappling. This completely disappear in modern Muay Thai. Muay Thai is a newer style adapted for the ring. The techniques differ quite a lot as well.
What is shown in this video is mostly modern Muay Thai if you will.
