There was no reason for Clark to sit out the entire 4th quarter. All the announcers have been saying is The Fever have had no practice time. I know theyvwere getting trounced but that's an opportunity to at least run some plays for the starters.

Every time she plays, she breaks the attendance record at that stadium, even at away arenas. They chant her name at away games. They chant her name when she's not in the game.
The New York Liberty made 2 million dollars in ticket sale revenue when she was in town, the most they've ever made in the history of the WNBA.
The WNBA's collective bargining agreement is coming up soon, and they will undoubtedly be able to demand more money than they ever have, because of the Caitlin Clark effect.
She doesn't have to win games for them to hate on her and be jealous of everything about her life.

Michael Jordan couldn't make the Fever better. LOL. I just watched a compilation of CC hitting teammates with absolute dimes wide open under the basket, and them missing LAYUPS by themselves. I've seen better play from high schoolers. Basketball is a team game, you can only do so much by yourself.

For every turnover someone makes they have to score a certain amount of points to make up for it or the turnovers will have a negative impact on the outcome of the game. Clark doesn't score enough points to prevent her turnovers from having a negative impact on their chances of winning. Don't tie your identity to Clark's success because when she fails you're going be devastated.
