- In depth look at what a full time Uber or Lyft Driver could earn in 2024
A like and a sub would be better than 5 stars!
I wrote down the craziest things that have happened in my Uber in order to support my channel. I think it's a pretty good book, but I'm a little bias. Get a copy at www.eddiepdoyle.com/shop/ and I will be eternally grateful.
I've seen a $28 ride come through and scooped in less than 2 seconds. But I can see that it pays 58 cents per mile!!! Yeah... 48 miles!!! Essentially it's an over hour ride to nowhere, where you will drive back empty (and depressed).

Looks like Saturday night 9pm to midnight is the best time to drive.
30 percent old players ...20 percent rentals cars ..50 percent New drivers .. treating this as 9 to 5 job ... Invisible Loss is Not Visible ...^ month recycle period for drivers ..in 6 month there is lots of chance of drivers get addicted of this scam
While this is a step in the right direction -- educating drivers on the reality of doing rideshare -- you once again have misleading numbers, making this whole argument irrelevant. If you wanna try to be the expert at this, at least present correct information.
There are so many line items ppl don't even consider when driving. I'm so glad you are on it and also know math😁 It is so important to know all the areas where you can make or lose money in this business. Especially where you are driving. In Alexandria and DC you can make tons(Although the cab companies are pushing back still). But come about 60 minutes south and the houses and businesses are so far apart that everyone has to have cars just to live and won't need your Uber most likely. Although a LOT of rich ppl here call all their groceries and food in from Uber eats. It's crazy. At holidays especially the streets are packed with delivered food.
Eddie I've been driving since 2016 and I'm leaving now as soon as I can find a professional job. It makes me so sad.
No offense bro but we are all here to see those funny Uber and lift video I still watch someone of these but ur views and ratings are low no offense but unless someone who drives for Uber or Lyft wants to know about their earnings these videos don't appeal to those who want to see the other content you use to post please post those hell repost old ones it's been so long we would love to replay those I'm jusy trying to help u out cause u use to get 550k to 1mil or over 1 mil views now u get 1000-5000 sometimes not even that on videos like this please start ur content back up before people forget about you and move on to other channels
I always forget that Pennsylvania is basically a Southern state. Crazy that you can live in Philly and make $7.25/hr on minimum wage or pay less in rent and make $15/hr in New Jersey. Heck, even the bordering states of West Virginia and Ohio have higher minimum wage.
I made $67 after write offs last year driving for lyft. The jobs arent out here. I would love to work 80 hours a week whos hiring??
What a awesome thing Eddie that you are sharing so that other Uber and Lyft drivers are really taking into consideration what the bottom line truly is.
Im so happy to see u again.
Good for you! This is something everyone should know. Big businesses will glad take advantage of anyone they can.
Thanks for the detailed breakdown bro. As far as I know, all the gig apps are becoming like this. Less and less money to you slowly over time. The fact they have enough money to rope you in with bonuses means, they CAN pay you more. Its not corporate greed as it appears on the outside, its control bro. They're all doing it thats how u know.
Well done with breaking this all down. Fairly new driver here. How does one drive out of the licensed registered state?
Lyft is by far my favorite to drive for. Everytime i go out its ride after ride after ride i always make money. The rides are fairly short and it keeps me in the area i want. The bonuses are pretty good. I have a great crossover suv great gas mileage.
I just started driving in New Jersey & got a Hertz vehicle;
great vid, do you have any idea where or what are the best places/cities to be an uber/lift driver? would love to know! thx
The charge time is a good insight. I wonder how many other EV Uber drivers consider charge time when they're calculating their hourly earnings?
We need people like you … IN PERSON LOL
