He broke the Iaw for Pete's sake -- lNTERNATlONAL LAW! Baud was in Ykraine during the same time period the ClA was running programs to foment the Banderite ideology and destabilize the country. Don't you think Baud's illegal activities deserve questioning? They led to the violence of the Mai dan Ma$acre (it weren't no stinking revolution) that left 100 Ykraines dead, some SNlPED! and erupted into an 8-year CiviI War that kiIIed 14K Ykraines between 2014-2019. For what these Western eIites did to Ykraine they should be Iocked up, not enjoying an interview as an expert guest. An expert in destroying a country that has now lost close to 800,000 men. All because a bunch of Western eIites decided to topple a democratically eIected president. This is no hero. This is a criminaI.

@@Putins_shirt I'd be interested if you could provide details on your accusations. My impression was that he was a straight military man who was not following political events particularly closely, and was assigned a routine task in the Ukraine _after_ the coup. And that he learnt from what he saw, tried to do the right thing, but eventually ended up feeling forced to speak out against what he had been a part of. His fellow-countryman Andrei Raevsky, otherwise known as _The Saker,_ had a similar history though his NATO service was in Bosnia in the 1990s rather than in the Ukraine in the 2010s.

You get a mixture of various less alternative media, and deep historical context, eg Gerald Horne's encyclopedia on African history, coups and connections. Admittedly from a left-wing perspective, no dogma. What I like about Garland Nixon he has his glass eyes, he seeks the truth. If it is Viktor Orban or the Marxist-Leninist Joti Brar who says so. The ruling classes among their proxies in Europe and Asia decide they'd rather have sex than terrorism and war. (unlikely, since to them they are the same) 2. American voters eliminate private funding from politics. (much more likely than the media reports) 3. BRICS greatly expands into Latin America. (a certainty) 4. Moderate countries, including allies like France, India, Japan, and Saudi Arabia de-dollarize and trade in other currencies. (unavoidable) 6. China, Russia, and the continent of Africa disappear from the face of the Earth. (impossible) 7. Better US politicians. (see #2.)

However, Switzerland is grabbed by the balls since if we decide to go back to neutral state, SWIFT system would be taken away by los gringos. Sad but true fact for such as small nation to survive in the middle of Fascist EU.

Totalitarianism sucks. The crack down on individual though and ability to publicly debate, dooms Empire to a homogeneous agreed upon downward trajectory. The freedom of thought and speech, was what once upon a time made it prevail. No more. It's over. Time to learn a new alphabet.

A recent "poll" of Taiwanese indicates that most are "on the fence" about actively seeking to join the Mainland. Perhaps the way the question was asked had an influence, but the majority wanted the status quo to remain and somewhere in the future address the question again. A very small percentage wanted independence now. A larger small group wanted Independence at a later
date. The group wanting to join the Mainland is not large but growing. When Chang Kaishek was forced to flee the mainland from the Communists he invaded Formosa, as Taiwan was called then. So the Island consisted of a beaten army and the locals who wanted to preserve their own culture. The Communists didn't have the means to attack Taiwan so it became a bit of a stalemate, and Chang lived out his life as a refugee.
The USA, as part of their quest for global domination, takes every opportunity to support movements and groups that would contravene "our" manufactured enemies. How does one become an
enemy of the USA? Just don't bow down when you happen to be in our presence. If you think for yourself, and look to your own national interests, our government will look at you with suspicion and plan to subvert you. They are unanimous in that!
The flaw in our plan is that we have given up manufacturing to low-labor-cost countries, and our military is a shadow of what it once was despite our Trillion dollar Defense spending. We can support a land battle for a month or two and then we'll fold like a tent in a really high wind! We have given up our capacity to manufacture artillery. We've become a Paper Tiger while believing the opposite!

Exactly, and I bet the Taiwanese do not want to become the next Ukraine. I heard that China only wants them to change their flag. If that is not true, then they should negotiate, so they can stay as much as they are now as possible, that is a better option then getting destroyed.

    • @michael511128

Taiwan politics and media are controlled largely by the US. Young are brainwashed from the time they learned to watch cartoons and children books. Therefore they don’t think right and the surveys are manufactured to reinforce beliefs and propaganda. Taiwan people “think” for Taiwan is illegitimate, at least to 1.4 Chinese on the mainland and tens of millions elsewhere.

The kmt didn't INVADE Taiwan. It was returned to China after 50 years of Japanese occupation after WWII. The reason why the communists didn't retake Taiwan was the US 7th fleet stood in the way and the US is still meddling there now.

Terrific guest. Mr. Baud helped my recent reading click. Many refuse to accept where world actually is vs where they've hoped it would be by now, four-stepping it since early 1900's. The most puzzling, startling global events have a goal in mind, which begs old question...Who benefits from sanctions on world's greatest manufacturing and chip tech hub? New chip for EV's in light speed; if West can't access, standard gas cars remain in demand.

It is always enlightening to hear Col. Baud's comments. His opinion on Switzerland having abandoned its once neutral status as concerns the conflict in Ukraine would be most interesting to hear. In supporting sanctions which have served solely as political grandstanding on the part of NATO and the US, rather than maintain its venerable status as the place where negotiations precede and, ideally, prevent military conflict, Switzerland should remain what is one of few countries where diplomacy and intelligent discourse still prevail.
