Zephyr appears to be doing it easy.James, what was the outcome with the motor losing power? The new crew have a similar vibe to you guys - were the brothers known to you or you just got lucky? Confined on a sailboat to only find out one is an axe murderer could pose a problem lol!!!!! Sailing footage first rate.
That looked like an awesome sail, well done guys. Everytime I see your crew, damn they don't know fish and chips. Our go to Friday night meal. Oh and I'm #1.
Hey guys! Great vid as always. Pro tip... With a bit of persuasion you`ll be able to turn the locknut around and thread the rubber/plastic thing on first. Has gotten me out of a pinch more then once. Fair winds from Norway!!
Layman’s tip...... smash or score bolt threads... with hammer or a chisel..... if your lucky enough to get it on.... play hell getting it off !! 🤣😂🤣. I don’t always cross thread my bolts.....but when I do I crank it down until it’s to hot to touch !!
Hey, gang! How do yers run out of gas in 3 days? I get 1 week per 3.5 litre bottle running the cooker, hot water, and fridge in my motorhome, and 4 months if I am travelling a lot!! *chuckles* Who's job was that?
@Gypzy Jack probably mine! (Nat).....we had been running that same one since Italy...should have known better...we tried to get our Benny Propane bottles filled, however Europe is kind of hard for that...they prefer Butane...we knew we were running low....worst comes to worst we were going to use engine to heat up some cans! Thankfully it never came to that! 👍😁👍
@@SailingZephyr LOL A SABU op, aye?!! Here's a tip: you can buy small hiking-sized gas cannisters and stands for emergencies. I travel towing a trailer with an adventure motorbike, kayak, malibu, surfyak...you name it...and often park up and take off on the bike to go exploring places I don't want to take my motorhome, and always on board in my panniers are my basic cooking/heating stuff for emergency breakdowns or extended trips. They are cheap as chips from a camping store. Cheers, and fair winds for your upcoming Atlantic crossing.
Great music!
Thanks Torrey!
I wish I understood more about "whisker poles" and other rigging poles used in placing sails
Its good to carry a back up stove I use portable butane the little gas cans very easy to store😁👍
