4:35 This is my favourite setup since it matches the crowded chaotic feel from the movies, but 5:09 configuration is good too since you still have the shops facing each other with the bank at the end but the alley is wider.
I like them close up as well but i'm hoping when my city is up and running and all the minifigs are added the 5.09 configuration will look just as chaotic as the movies :)
Thank you very much! The moc is coming along. The problem atm is deciding how best to do the steps out the front of the shop as it quite a step up. I have quite a good idea how I am going to do the roof so as soon as the bottom layer is done it should be smooth sailing (hopefully) :)
My idea is to build the subterranean part and then put Diagon Alley on the level of Gringotts It would then be the centre piece of our Potter display on our 1200 wide x 3 meter table with Hogwarts buildings below as a base. but as a separate display running in a linear or shelf display around the raised area. It could incorporate the station and other buildings like the disappearing house etc This would then utilize the inner part of the table showing all aspects that are not mutually inclusive to the related Hogwarts sets. I hope this is explanatory
It really is tough making these decisions. There's so much detail within these sets its difficult to know where to place everything. I agree a raised area on a linear shelf is the best way to utilise space to get the most impact. :)
Its Lego and their sticker sheets. The name of the bank really should have been done on printed elements so the gap would have been eliminated. It is annoying. :)
They really should have had an option to sell gringotts bank for half the cost alone… since that’s what most people want for their Diagonal Alley. Annoying.
It is too expensive with an unwanted cavern. Would've preferred a $250 Gringotts and dragon. But I'll never have a Gringotts because of how Lego marketed it. Terrible marketing
Great to see "Modular mode". No one seems to be talking about this well-designed space-saving option!
I'm currently changing all of diagon alley into the full sized modular MOCs designed by ministry of making. Now I'm running out of space :)
@@theintegralcog Wow those MOC's look amazing!
@@hamsterproductionsofficial I'm currently editing the review for the bookshop and the ice cream parlour and this moc is even more impressive :)
Corner mode for the win 🏆
Can’t wait to see how your channel evolves
Thank-you. Now I have a Lego room hopefully I can upload more often.

Thank you, I looked at dozens of gringott videos hoping someone would display it in “modular mode” as that is how I would display it in my city
I really hope Lego give us another selection of shops. I love how they connect to the back of each other. :)
diagon doughnut 😂, background music fits this so well!!
Glad you liked it :)
Corner mode is really trying to convince me to spend too much money.
It's definitely impressive when you see both sets together. Just wish they gave us 2 more shops instead of the underground.
@@theintegralcog true. a big leaky cauldron build would be very nice
@@aymansaid1253 For what i want to do in my city a leaky cauldron the size of a base plate and a half would be ideal :)
@@theintegralcog let’s wait and see! i remember not too long ago we thought lego had zero plans for a gringotts set, yet here are
@@aymansaid1253 fingers crossed :)
😁😀Nother Nice Vid My friend. Hope People Like the Set(s)
Thanks :)
Excellent work! This is an incredible idea for a video. Can't wait to see the building you come up with the finish the idea.

this looks awesome
@@dinobrickhaven I really hope we get more shops in the future:)
If we combined them, well, inevitably we'd be recreating not only The Philosopher's Stone, but also The Chamber of Secrets.
I just want more diagon alley shops and a knockturn alley. :)

Great video. Just one question. What is the TS in Gringot TS Bank?
Its Lego and their sticker sheets. The name of the bank really should have been done on printed elements so the gap would have been eliminated. It is annoying. :)
The Integral Cog the set nummer is NOT 76418 but 76417
Well spotted. Corrected it now. It must have been missed when i copied over the details from the advent calendar. Thanks for letting me know :)
Does the extra connection work with the new www/ owl post
I don't actually know as I don't have that set but I will very soon. I have plans for that exact add on :)
❤❤❤❤
Cheers Amy :)

I completely agree, The bank vaults should have been a big roller coaster set :)

My thoughts exactly. I just don't understand why the cavern wasn't a huge roller coaster set.
Love the Gringot ts bank
it really was a fun build. Absolutely loved it :)
@@theintegralcog i believe it :D i meant the Logo „GEINGOT TS BANK“ looks weird
@@xxxcrashfirexxx8676 yeah i wish i cut the sticker now. Who knows, maybe one day they will release a printed piece. :)
