There is something to be said about V1s role in Sisyphus' story. Although Sisyphus may have died by the machine's hands he dies happy as either way he has won, with either him destroying the Heavens or V1, a being that has proven themselves to be a greater force than himself, doing it for him. One must imagine Sisyphus happy, as his end goal will be completed no matter what, and we are his legacy.
Why are you so sure about V1 destroying Heaven? If mining facility's barricades weren't feeble 3 wooden planks, then V1 might've never ventured there and would ran out of fuel on Earth's surface. And what "3 wooden planks" might hold off Creature of Steel from entering it? I bet it isn't as easy. Until there will be something in the game that concretely supports that, V1 getting to Heaven is a theory/fancanon, until proven otherwise ofcourse.

One of my greatest problems with Sisyphus's design was the heart in his chest, with Minos it made sense because he was a pacifistic ruler who decided for a peaceful rebellion, so Sisyphus having a heart too makes no sense because he wasn't trying to be good, he was a power hungry warmonger. But the characterization is on point, everything from him even laughing at the end knowing that heaven will fall no matter what is just perfect.

Gotta be honest. Sisyphus Prime has got nothing in Minos Prime. Minos is just FAR cooler and has that powerful unique presentation. I like how Sisyphus takes his own spin, but thats pretty much it. Most agree that the Guantlet prior to Sisyphus Prime is actually harder than the boss itself. That would make sense imo, given how challenging Minos is already it's gonna get real hard to give even MORE challenge and unique attacks.
I mean the p-2 gauntlet is also harder than P-1 itself, if there wasnt a checkpoint every ten feet then nobody but speedrunner pros would have the level done

Gotta be honest. Sisyphus Prime has got nothing in Minos Prime.
Minos is just FAR cooler and has that powerful unique presentation.
I like how Sisyphus takes his own spin, but thats pretty much it. Most agree that the Guantlet prior to Sisyphus Prime is actually harder than the boss itself.
That would make sense imo, given how challenging Minos is already it's gonna get real hard to give even MORE challenge and unique attacks.
and i'd argue a much more dynamic lore.
