Even as if Gabriel is represented as the most feared angels by destroying a prosperous king and a war general, he still dies to a toaster with spare change.
i mean he did say "for there is not species nor origin, vested rank or holy status that will stop the sharp edge of a sword", or in this case, bullet with spare change
If in violence we don't find out who the next prime soul is, then it means that Gabriel will be the 3rd and last one. Because if the father's light dies he will die, but through his sheer will to come back and rule heaven he will become a prime soul
It’s pointless to make Gabriel a prime soul. Prime souls have been thematically contained in prisons. Secondly, they’re not human. Prime souls must be human. Third, it removed the potential for him to become anything lol But yea it’s icarus
To clarify king menos surrendered to Gabriel and attempted to reason with him, preferring peace over violence. But the angel ignored his pleas for mercy and slaughtered him. This is why prime menos who reincarnates with just his soul (without a husk he is much weaker.) immediately attacks V1. Ironically he might have been able to stop the slaughter of humanity if he had reasoned with V1 instead of jumping straight to violence much as heaven taught him. These kinds of tragedies are why god left humanity, but more than that why humanity sinned against god. He sentenced them to everlasting torture and he himself acknowledged this.
Yeah it’s so fascinating. The theme of religious fascism that underlies this game… you really get this feeling that the council are just a bunch of fascist creeps justifying the most obscene and cruel form of oppression by claiming they basically “used to know this guy”.
Seeing as how each time we fought him in the final layer of an Act, it does seem fitting given his actions that we'll see him one final time in Treachory. It's also not lost on me that the final layer is the 9th and how he performs as a fallen angel of sorts mirroring Satan and the devils number being reversed be a coincidence at best or Hakita's insane attention to detail. It is interesting that (to my knowledge) the devil is not seen once throughout Ultrakill. The only threat we have seen from a higher being in Hell is the forces of Heaven. Of course, it is stated in the Bible that Satan does not own hell but merely resides there till the Rapture happens. Nevertheless, you'd think we'd have crossed paths with him by now as we are quite literally destroying hell. Either way, im looking forward to the final act.
Hakita did say we weren't fighting Lucifer anytime soon- but he didnt say no to fighting Gabriel for a third time- since he had said they'd meet again.
Don’t get ahead of yourself unless you want to join the council. It’s not that deep. Ultrakill is a lake fnaf is subnautica. But Ultrakill lore is made of D2O at least.
It’s strange that a ripped Wal-E can destroy an Angel, but I think that we are underestimating the power of the V2 superweapon. His body is made out of alloys which are unknown to our current civilization. His ability to process things and move at hyper speed makes him basically untraceable. He’s firing an arsenal of highly advanced weapons that are too thermally volatile and heavy to be wielded by any human being, and he’s starving for blood. Also, in this universe, Gabriel is a humanoid whose power comes from a fake god. His whole “POWER OF AN ANGEL” charade is bogus. He’s basically operating on thousands of years of narcissism.
technically the robot is the good guy in ultrakill because he beats the shit out of Demons The Damned Rebellious Damned Other robots (No rights) A proud angel doomed to fall (Satan was the same) The proud angel's followers (Satans demons are the same)
But V1 isn't doing it *because* they're those things, it just wants their blood to fuel itself: V1, and really all of the machines, are THE quintessential embodiment of Gluttony.
He did kill Minos, someone who went through so much sorrow and despair and could have made lust a better place (again). But he may have freed the damned, but he did this for his selfish gain. To stay alive. No soul. No regret.
Be careful man. He’s coming back for you next update. See how far arrogance got Gabriel? We’ve only seen the goodie two shoes church choir boy so far. Who knows how powerful blood addicted satanic Gabriel who just committed genocide in heaven is gonna be.
I mean, part of the nature of his existence is to seek the approval of his superiors and God so that he knows he's performing his life purpose correctly. Without it, he's nothing.

Thats a really good theory
angels don’t have a soul though, so it’s impossible for an angel to become a prime soul

as one vid represented:
BEHOLD, THE POWER OF AN ANGEL-
*gets instantly ded*
Ah! I knew you’d come. To stand before the elden ring and become elden lo- *SKEWERED*
Gabriel is a total smash.
The ending cut scenes of the acts each start with two words that define what it's about, kind of like how the Iliad starts with "Rage."
The beginning of the video starts with the Leyndell City theme from Elden ring
And that Theme alone can explain the sadness in the Ultrakill Universe

Gabriel isn't really evil. More like broken... The machine let him finally realize that he was being commanded by tyrants.

Gabriel
Overture: Justice
Act 1: Overconfidence
Act 2: Desperation and Wrath
Act 3: Final Hour
You summed up nicely Gabriel's journey uptil now. The Leyndell theme of Elden Ring is a good choice to show the slow decline of the Kingdom of Heaven.
I really hope to get gabriel sword/swords as a final weapon, with anything extra just the swords to mow down husks and machines.
