Just wondering, why starting from this video, views are pretty low. Looks like YT's algorithm changed or something, because I am subscriber but I don't recall seeing this on my timeline.
About video itself - thanks Todd another quality video!

I like the way the behringer sounds compared to the aphex. It’s sounds brighter to my ears. And the apex has more of that darker tone to it.

I hear it as well. In fairness though, this was bass processing only and I did not use the exciter section on either unit. Makes me think I should probably do a full head-to-head comparison… Cheers!

Any examples with Waves Submarine? Has two sub octaves available. I have been using it some in live mixing and a ligtle bit in the box.

If you want an interesting clip to test headphone clarity and resolution despite extreme differences in pitch and octaves, try out this one. It has both extremely deep sub-bass notes along with loud mids with delicate highs. th-cam.com/video/VTheKU_nIT0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=hXTueB_GMLrqzUez timestamps 2:15-2:41.

It's a shame that plugins now want to go the subscription away.

I don’t see the point of sub bass
