I hear it as well. In fairness though, this was bass processing only and I did not use the exciter section on either unit. Makes me think I should probably do a full head-to-head comparison… Cheers!

I like the way the behringer sounds compared to the aphex. It’s sounds brighter to my ears. And the apex has more of that darker tone to it.

Any examples with Waves Submarine? Has two sub octaves available. I have been using it some in live mixing and a ligtle bit in the box.

It's a shame that plugins now want to go the subscription away.
