In Germany, Engineers have the same status as Doctors, I take my hat off to them. I love to see old fashion apprenticeships coming up through the ranks. Brilliant, well done Lloyd keep them coming.

Amazing craftsmanship!!! Mr. Miyagi doesn’t have shit on Krieghoff’s apprenticeship. “File on file off….” Wow! The absolute precision of work. Like the gun of the year and the blue diamond gun.

wow !!!! seeing the finish on these custom guns has changed my mindset on Krieghoffs, just stunning and the "Blued Diamond" is mint and so modern looking. Ive just spent a lot of imaginary money in my head 🤣 As always Lloyd, fantastic Video 👍

This reminds me of making a copy of a 17th century skeleton clock when I was just 18 years old. So much of it was good old fashioned hand work, including the crown wheel. 43 years later I still have this clock. Maybe I should have trained as a gunsmith.😂 What a fantastic apprenticeship programme!

That apprenticeship is incredible. Makes my machinist apprenticeship look absolutely spartan in comparison. Really swaying me towards a K gun.

If you are not a skilled gunsmith, you can only guess how much effort it takes to make such a shotgun. The video is excellent and thanks to Krieghoff to be allowed to look into the hallowed halls, it is a very nice promotional video for all really interested shooters.

That engraving @ 43:35 is just incredible , cant wait to see that style hit the market. The elaborate scene engravings are amazing aswell but if feel like id be afraid to even breath on it. 😅

Not use the customer for any testing purposes! That’s a great mind-set. Wish SigSauer had that same idea. Would save them millions in class action lawsuit payouts!

Looking at the different types of blueing needed for different barrel constructions, just shows how far Longthorne are ahead of other shotgun makers, with the
way their barrels are made, from one piece of metal that need no joins.
And sometimes blows up at the end… at least the rest of them is reliable…

Wow. The human hand is capable of more precise fitting than the CNC machine. That blows my mind.

Great guns !
However, my K80 had to be sent back for barrel poi regulation. It ended up needing a different barrel hanger and a barrel adjustment. Another club member had a poi problem with his Parcour . . . . hmmmm
I have never heard of that problem I was a shotgun gunsmith for over 30 years before I retired stock fit yes on a off the rack gun
I only wish I could afford one of these. I think I just may put it in a show cabinet, and just look at it!

Thank you for the tour. I do however wish TGS had done your cinematography and editing. This reminds me of Top Gear prior to Clarkson, Hammond and May. Very informative but lacks the “posh”….definitely “German”

I would had preferred seeing the gunsmith performing the final check of the K-80 vs the three host of the video... I would assume the gunsmith did not want his image on camera- which is understandable or it was a trade secret... Thank you for this video..
