What’s really haunting is if you also read the note in the final control room, one of the workers said that at night the brains would sing a haunting melody that broke his heart and drove him mad. I think he was listening to this sound, for hours, knowing it was coming from countless brains trapped in slavery remembering their past freedoms and bodies

just heard this in my own game and i was so confused when i suddenly heard the whispering. thought my durge was going insane for a hot second. the ambience of this is amazing
Thank you so much for uploading this track! I was looking for it and almost lost hope before I found your upload. This is the first track that has wormed its way into my mind and won't leave. I'm impressed a track I remember from Early Access character creation has been repurposed in such a way to hit so very differently. It definitely conveys the sadness they were attempting to incite.
Gortash did too many terrible things to the Gondians and the others! There is an option to ally with him, but as we know from the book of Accelerated Grand Design he was ultimately going to betray even allies like the Dark Urge. The only consolation for his victims is that he is tormented after death by the God of Tyranny, Bane himself.

Simply unforgettable what they did there with overlapping whispers and deeply haunting melody. One of the best soundtracks in the game for me.
the tune all the brains are humming is actully the same one as the first dream guardian song.
The first time I was sure I heard it somewhere early in the game and it was the dream guardian of course! Such a nice touch.
